Size 10 screaming to get out!!

Food porn alert. Planned lunch yesterday, wasn't much I could do to get out of it. Had:
2 glasses jasmine tea and lots of water
A pork bun
3 spicy pork dumplings
3 prawn dumplings
Tiny bit of duck sticky rice
1 prawn toast
2 prawn shredded fried noodle things

Perhaps that amount of food was a little unnecessary but in my defense I was going along with my guest and didn't know the portion sizes etc!

It's also all a little bit off this weekend as mums coming. BBQ tonight, so no carbs at all. Lunch tomorrow, slightly more problematic. I'm seeing it as 2 meals only. Then right back on it. But sadly next weekends the same as it's a festival. Not very sociable this diet. First time I did this I must have had no friends or ever got invited anywhere....(or was just stricter?!) x

*sigh* It's so early in the diet and it's gone so wrong already. Ok so I broke it Friday lunch and I avoided carbs Saturday night but really the amount I've eaten is just silly. I had pizza today and then stupidly patted myself on the back for having a fish one not the really meaty one. Last night no carbs but practically 12 animals worth of meat as 'it's OK'. And next weekend won't be much better as I'm at a festival. At least I have had a shake and a litre of water for dinner. Back on it tomorrow. I'm absolutely shattered, been moody and irritable all weekend and feel like I have zero motivation. Grr.

Back on it no problem. It's amazing how nasty a tin of tuna is though without mayonnaise or bread or anything. Bleurgh.

2 lb loss this week despite BBQ, pizza and glass of wine :)

Any loss next week, assuming I don't sts or gain, will be good as 1 lb off for half stone on total and 2 lb to mini goal. Anything beyond that a bonus. Of course not on it this weekend! X

I know the diet is off from tomorrow evening so I'm starting to get lax and convince myself I could just break it tonight instead. V naughty. Am drinking tonnes of water instead so I will up for a wee as soon as I get into bed I reckon....
 
Woo hoo, 2lb off again and 10 stone 7 this morning.

But it was a scale hop so doesn't count.... :(

Eek. No I'm not sure. Quite a bit of food this weekend but also dancing and walking? I stick to a shake, a bar, lots of water and a chicken salad today......then had three glasses of wine as still in festival mode..... :/ x

Hmm don't know. Three glasses of wine turned into 6 and a hangover to boot. Sort of stuck to it since but was starving today so had some chicken AND some prawns. As usual the diet has done something weird with my periods - it has started early - so I have that to contend with tomorrow as well Not looking forward to weigh in. Might not have so very far to go but would be nice if I wasn't constantly putting my body through this :/

Stupid scales went to 10 stone 7lb - flickered, flickered, flickered - then settled for 10 stone 8lb and ZERO oz!!!! Ah well, at least it's going in the right direction. So that's 1lb off and 1lb on since the scale hop. Which considering I feel like a beached whale isn't so bad. Why why why does this diet always do weird things to my hormones though? I'm hot and bloated.....nice.....

This is the reason I don't deserve any more than a 1lb loss (or any infact!):
Friday: started off OK then crisps, half portion chips, booze
Saturday: crisps, banana chips, half portion chicken udon noodles, half a pulled pork and coleslaw roll with pickles, a fishdog (like a hotdog but with fish and minted mushy peas in it), loadsa booze
Sunday: a huge pulled pork burrito with extra guacomole, rice and beans, a chicken burger from the kebab, booze
Monday: stuck to diet then about 6 glasses of wine :/
 
You did well to have lost 1lb after that weekend! Well done!
 
Thanks guys, I can't really moan can I? This weekend I've decided I'm going to have tuna steak or chicken with stir fry veg and zero noodles tonight and try to stick to water then tomorrow I might have a little to eat but not go mad. Might even just stick to some seafood or fish with some salad. Lots of boring house things to do so can keep my mind off it! That huge box of red wine is still sitting in the larder though and I'm petty and don't want Boo to finish it off as I bought it! :/

Mmmmmmmm lovely wine.
I had my salmon stir fry and zero noodles yesterday (cooked in coconut oil no less) and just some seafood today at Mersea but I did have one bottle of mango cider which was naughty. Other than that shakes and water all the way. Certainly an improvement on last weekend...
