Thanks hun. I'm starting to feel the difference but it comes and goes. Sometimes I feel like I'm a size 20 still. It's like my mind plays tricks on me xx

We're going to do it...it's true. Positive will and desire to change things..and keeping the bad bad carbs at bay. :D

Crisps. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Salt & Vinegar crisps. Oh, I can nearly taste them. Good Luck with this week's weigh-in xx

I've just printed myself out 3 x 1month calendars so I can pin them to the fridge and mark each day off. How sad am I? Lol.

That's a really good idea! I might have to do the same :)

Ooooh salt and vinegar crisps I'm on board with that one lol

Good Morning from sunny Leiden, NL, girls. The results in from the Cambridge Jury.....1.8kg I can hardly believe it. 78 kg bang on. So chuffed. Glad I didn't buy or eat the salt & vinegar now. My Scottish brain made me almost eat a finger of shortbread this week too, but I overwhelmed it in time.

Anne, brilliant idea with the print-outs. Wish I'd thought of that. When I started off I set up a little spreadsheet and I colour it in every day. End of the week I get green for a loss, and the red for gains. Simple things for simple minds. Anyway, enough rambling from me. I'm off out to look for new wardrobes and paint for the bedroom, so I'll love you and leave you for now.

good luck with the weigh-ins. xxxxx

A friend of mine has just had a little boy and I was empathising with her about how difficult it is to lose the baby weight.
Not sure how much longer I can carry that one off. My youngest child is in his 20s!!

Ha ha ha ha ha. I had an accident in 2001 and couldn't move fully or exercise properly for a couple of years. The same excuse was wearing a bit thin last year :busted:

Haha. Great minds think alike!! How you getting on Tracy, you still 100%?

Anne. Xx

Hey Anne, great to see you back. :) Not so good news for me this week. 100g on. I actually lost 1.5kg of fat and 1cm from my waist, so the carbs have given me the fluid. I was having trouble going to the toilet this week (plenty information I hear you say), so my consultant has put me onto the 800 calorie programme. I think thats SS+ in the UK, is that right? Hey ho, let's see what next week brings. I'll hope for a kilo. How are you doing Anne?

Well I lost 3lb this week, not fantastic considering! I'm good all week, it's those pesky weekends I'm struggling with! I have a lot of functions coming up, weddings, nights away etc, should be an incentive but I find it's the opposite. I'm struggling but still hanging in there. Let's see what this week brings.

Morning Tracy and Anne,

Hope you don't mind me putting my two pennies worth in but my daughter is 18 in the 24th July and I still have my baby weight!!!! :8855:

Who am I trying to kid a??

But 2nd week (weigh in today) but hoping for some quick results and to keep it off this time!!

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and love all the posts pictures and advice you get on here, as well as the day to day stuff.

Dawn

Welcome Dawn...great to have you 'on-board' :D. I moved on to the 800 programme this week (SS+ in the UK). I lost 200g only - which is quite normal on the changeover week according to my consultant. My daughter's in hospital, so I was eating hospital canteen sandwiches every day for lunch, and had expected a gain. Must try harder this week. Anne, 3lb is great. Hope you can avoid the temptation on your outings...the weekend is the worst for me :(

Hi Tracy,

Thanks for welcome,

Do hope your daughter is ok, not much fun having to be in hospital for you or her.

Im on week 3 of ss and going well, Im planning to be on ss for 8 weeks then see if I can go to 12 weeks on it. Ive got small goals although like the rest of us want to loose lots.

You're doing well, just hope I don't let the side down and loose lots too. I am 100% on it but thought Id loose more on second weigh in. Not having bars any more is case this maybe reason. We'll see on Tuesdays weigh in.

All you can eat Indian buffet last night, not dared step on the scales to see the damage just hoping I can limit the damage for Mondays weigh in.

Anne xx

Anne,

Lol, bet you enjoyed it though. Did you feel completely bloated though after not eating a lot?

Get back on the wagon , it shouldn't be too bad, not as bad as you think - reading others on here - they never put on as much as they think.x
