Lunch: pasta with onions, mushrooms and tomatoes with worcestershire sauce. Activia mango yogurt.

Dinner: Ham salad with boiled egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, mixed salad leaves, celery, carrot, cucumber and beetroot. Scan bran carrot cake (2 syns)

Snacks: 2 x apples, 2 x plums, grapes, fat free yogurt, blueberries.

Syns: walkers crisps (from multi pack) 6.5, s/b cake 2. Total = 8.5

Think I'm getting the hang of extra easy now :)

:cry: + 1lb:cry:....I'm so disappointed, I've stuck to plan & not gone off the rails, thought E/E was working for me, but maybe not! I'll stick at it for another week and see what happens, if I don't get a good result next week I'll revert back to my usual green and occasional red days. I'm not giving up, I WILL lose this pesky 4lbs! :D

Hi suzyflo, seems like we are both stuck. I'm very happy to be at my target but I do think I can get lower. I have looked back at the sw magazines and the one thing that is very noticeable is the massive variation in foods, every day the breakfast is different, as are all the meals. I tend to have the same breakfast because I like it and its east to take to work. Plus I do a batch cook and have quorn for lunch 2 or 3 days. I wonder if religiously changing would make a difference? What do you think? Maybe I'm but eating enough fruit too.
 
Hi Quins, you have a good point there, I tend to eat the same things over and over, especially for work as, like you, I find it easier. It might help to have regular menu changes, just to keep our bodies/metabolism on their toes! That said, it is lot more cost effective to batch cook, perhaps we can still do that but find some room in our freezers to store things for another day? I have often thought about following a 7 day menu plan from the magazines, just haven't got round to it. Re the fruit, I eat LOADS of fruit at work, I have been known to eat a full punnet of plums and grapes, plus apples and pears and a banana (as well as breakfast and lunch!) I guess all the natural sugars add up so I thought I'd try and cut down on it a bit. I think I need to get myself motivated and do some exercise too...I've not done any lately whereas last year I was running 5k several times a week...it's just that it's been so so cold! if you feel like you could lose some more..go for it, we CAN do this :D

Aw pants!! The hardest part of this extra easy mullarkey is trying to remember I can only have 1 hexb...I already had 2x weetabix for breakfast & I've gone and had 2 x slices of w/m toast with my lunch..dammit. I'll have to syn one - so that will be 6 syns for the bread..could have used them for something nicer, never mind, I'll try and be better at remembering. :)
