Taking sachets on flight as hand luggage?

What do you think?

I am flying to Germany for 3 days tomorrow and hoping to just take hand luggage with me. If I chose the thicker soups (3 bean and chorizo etc) that don't look like liquid do you think I will get away with them as hand luggage?

Alas, I would say no. This may help:-

If you are only bothered about taking soup I'm sure you can get it in Germany. Your average tin of soup is not so nutritionally different but don't necessarily taste as good.

yes you are right Caroline. Never mind I'll put my bag in the hold on the way there and when I have eaten the food it can come back as hand luggage!
