TOUGH LOVE-APPLY WITHIN

:wave: I subscribed to this thread a few days ago but just read it all the way through and live the honesty.
I've lost 5st 9lb and fed up of ppl telling me how well I've done and that I look amazing-I want ppl to say 'well done but you really need to lose a few more stone' I weigh 14 st 6 at present and have wasted yet another week by eating rubbish and letting my cravings win.
I have this weeks meal plan printed out and I'm 100% dedicated to it :)

pull your finger out and forget the 82lb lost and pretend it's day one!

take plenty of photo's of you NOW and only get the old ones out when you reach target.....

very impressive effort indeed but you are the captain of your ship and hold that willpower sister!

Day 1 of my 4th month at bootcamp today so need new pics taken. Once I get past tonight il be ok. My 30th bday in sept and want to be at target for then :)

I thought I had it hard, I've only lost 3st and people are telling me that's enough! At 6-1" I appear I can carry 17st (clothed)

You haven't lost enough cos your mind knows the truth Joeysox, don't listen to anyone but yourself. I refuse to listen to those that say "enough" - you know when it's right, it's your body!

The final run must be the hardest because you are getting near to the image of yourself you had in mind at the outset

Look yourself up n down full length NAKED in the mirror every day and decide if the doubts are worth all that hard work

i do that every day even bleary eyed first thing in the morning im not ok with what i see! i get told ive done well and should be pleased cause ive got kids, loads of people have kids its not a reason, yes i have issues that made me this way but i cant fix my issues so im working on the weight so i can be healthy for my family. 3 stone 10 is my target as just a few pound under that doesnt suit me, am 100% on track now and not slipping up so hopefully sundays weigh day will be a good one x
 
I'm still rocking 5lbs off this week :)

pleased to report a move myself into the 16's today, now at 16-13, 2lbs lost last week

LOVING the tough love approach, I am so good at making excuses for why that large pizza jumped into my mouth all by itself. NO MORE I have messed about with this for far too long (many, many years indeed) and this time I'm doing it. Please feel free to kick me hard as required.

I think you need some specialist tough love which entails me making extra loud fun of you stagnating at 14st 6lb whilst I sail past you to my target of 13st-13lb at 6ft 1" !!

or how about you wrap up the nonsense and do what you say you're gonna do on the tin?

Awwwwh lads has to be the funniest thread on Minimins!!! well done to all on the good work :D Look forward to getting some harsh words when I need them if I can avail of the services too. Its a really good skill to be able to handle critics and make it work in your favour.

Am on holiday at the moment in Greece and my food plan (low carb/Atkins veggie) hasn't exactly gone to plan, so am trying to rein things in while I'm still here and then back on a strict 'straight and narrow' when I get home on Thurs. If I'm still struggling then may well pop in here for a dose of tough love. Don't really need to hear people justifying it for me by saying 'you're on holiday, live a little' even though I know they mean well.
Things were absolutely on track and I was at my goal weight before I left, and I worked so hard to get there I just don't want to slip back
