    Brilliant - I think push ups are my most hated exercise but they are so good for your upper body - and squats are amazing for your bum muscles!!! I did a session at the gym yesterday and they are hurting so bad this morning lol

    The way it was explained to me, and it totally made sense is that 1200 is right for some people but not for everyone. Many peoples basal metabolic rate is higher than this, this is the amount of calories you would need to stay alive if you were completely sedentary, say in a coma or something...
