    Bleeding Gums, Yuck!

    I read on another forum it's due to the viscosity change in our blood that occurs when on a vlcd. I've also noticed my gums have felt sore recently, but not bled as yet.

    I do some ss days and some ss+ depending on how I'm feeling. Means I can have a meal if I want and still be on plan, so doesn't feel like I'm cheating. It's just nice to know the option is there :)

    Day 4.. and all is going pretty well. Not really felt that hungry, but have been feeling tired, especially around late afternoon. Suprised I've managed 4 days, and that is hasn't been too difficult. Already feeling less bloated, which is nice.

    I just made my choc shake with warm water, and blended it lots, but it still came out lumpy! How do you make yours? Was wondering if I should mix into into a paste first? And if so, with hot or cold water. My cold shakes earlier today came out fine.

    I brought the "family feasts for under a fiver" book, and have made quite a few of the recipes from it. Its uses simple ingredients and recipes are easy to follow. Also brought the "extra easy cook book", but not keen on that one, means going out different buying herbs and spices I may never use...

    i think we all have days like that, just need to snack on the right things. Another thing that helps me is a mug of chocolate options (2 syns), made with milk from my hexa. Its warm, rich and creamy, and stops any tummy rumbles :)
