My friend is starting CD on Thurs and is currently BMI25 after losing 3.5 stone on conventional diet. She would still like to lose 1.5 stone and having read the info on Cambridge Home Page she could do 790. Have we misunderstood this or are there conflicting opinions on what she can/should do? (Obv she will discuss this at meeting with CDC).

    Hi,

At BMI 25 she would need to the 1000 calorie programme. She will still continue to lose weight through all programmes up to 1500.

This is something i have queried with Lisa From CD as on the website it does say that you can do 790 with a BMI of 25 and below in some cases,(so you arent reading it wrong) but all CDCs are told that with a BMI of 25 you would go onto the 1000 cal plan if you wanted weight to be reduced.
Just waiting for Cambridge to rectify the website as this is causing several counsellors problems.

The website is being revamped shortly and a lot of the ambiguous bits will be sorted out.
