Day one of year three, Go Jan!!!!

How are you getting on hun?x

Good thanks :) It's been a really busy day! I had to go for some mandatory training this morning then do Mum's shopping then my own plus party shopping for Sunday etc etc (that may put paid to the under 10st again this week ;)) We're up to 31 guests up to now with 14 'don't knows'. Mum knows I'm doing something for her birthday but she probably thinks it's just the kids when I've asked lots of other people as well :)

Wednesday 15th June

Breakie - strawberry mousse

Lunch - Exante vegetable soup

2 pieces of pork loin (tasters in Tescos)
2 mushrooms
a teensy weensy nectarine

Tea - Chicken leg cooked in lemon & tarragon with brocolli & leek & a few green beans

Work - Asda meal replacement bar (hope they're nice!) xx

Ooooh asda ones - i'm thinking of taking some meal bars on holiday with me for mornings where Stevie wakes up late and doesnt make breakfast I can just have a bar and trot off to the sunlounger until he joins me. Let me know what they are like. Are they same price wise as Tesco?

Awww you're mum's going to love it isnt she!! :) Be sure to take plenty a pics!! xxx

I think they were around £2.48 for a pack of 3, the 2 kinds were slightly different prices. There's a choccie one and a strawberry & yoghurt one. I'm taking the S&Y one tonight so I'll let you know later ;) xx

OH! And I'm betting there will be loads of photies :) x

They weren't different prices at all they were both £2.48 .... dunno what I saw on the shelf edge  xx

:giggle: Have to stick to the Tesco ones then for the time being! :) x

I'm not that fussy on the tesco ones - I really don't like the raspberry one, the choccie one is okay now and again for a change but I wouldn't like to have to have one every day. I got 2 biggest loser ones to try too - I've tried the choccie one before and don't remember being particularly impressed but thought I'd give it another go and another one ... Berry or something ... not sure. They're a bit dear though at £1.50 each. xx

Yup, that is a bit steep for a bar. I guess it's cuz its a big brand x

FYI - The Asda Strawberry & Yoghurt bar is nice :D ... Any sweeter and it would be too sweet but as it is it's just the right side of it iykwim . Nicer than the Tesco raspberry one imho :)

Very filling too xx

Good to know about the Asda bars. I love the BL choc bars but like you said, a bit expensive at £1.50. I'm really liking the Tesco choc ones at the mo and not too badly priced.

I bet your mum will be surprised by her party, hope she has a fantastic time!

I have been meaning to try the asda bars as well so might get some tomorrow. Do they sell them individually Jan?
Very exciting about your mum's party! Hope you a wonderful time :)

Jan, thank you for posting the links to your previous dieting history. Some of the links are broken, 2, 3, and 6, I think. :D

I find the tesco ones okay but I'm hoping the Asda ones are nicer  x

If they do they didn't have any in ours - they DID have their snack bars loose but they're not the meal replacement ones so be careful. x
