Lindsay's progress

    Weight 10st 4oz
    Waist 31.1"
    Hips. 36"
    Ribs. 31.2"
    Neck. 12"

    I'm doing this higher calorie eating ie: higher than BMR and a little lower than TDEE
    I work out 3-4 times a week mostly.
    I'm a nurse for three days a week
    Loving Jllian Michaels DVD :) and iv try and run 1-2 times a week too

    I love food unfortunately.

    Thought I'd jot down my progress on my own thread.

    hiya, im doing the same at the moment. But with xmas its being hard work! Iv got 2 young boys so the house keeps being filled for sweets for them which isnt good for me! Im getting a kettlebell on boxing day then starting workouts from then on 3-4 days a week. Im not worrying about the number on the scales, more bothered by size and measurements.

    I feel rubbish today ... Man flu .,!! Lol

    Haven't over indulged this Xmas but haven't been exemplary either ..!!
    Once new year is over ill he back at 1500 .!! Been going up to tdee .! X

    It's good to move up to maintenance every few weeks, supposed to shake the metabolism and keep it revved up :)

    Well have gained 2lbs ... I thought I did ok over Xmas too .... I'm duet period today do I would like to think it was totm weight but my daughter said my face looked bigger ... In total I have gained practically half a stone in the last three months .... I'm getting older ... Why must I be old and fat and not very pretty (losing my cheekbones again) why can't I get older and look ace ..?? Sigh .. Fed up of the struggle ...

    I up from 12st to 12st2lbs since xmas, but iv been lifting a 7.5kg kettlebell 3 days this week and 2 days of 30 day shred so my muscles are swollen and sore, so that might be why im a little heavier today, also all the chocs at xmas dont help, do they?! Iv lost 2 inches off hips and 2 off wiast since 12th november so im happy

    I only did my measurements a week ago .. And iv just started my period .. Iv shredded twice this week but haven't really drunk enough water like I'm used to .. Maybe I shouldn't be too hard on myself x

    I'm going to lower my carbs again ... Since I have been doing higher cals iv put weight on.. Me and my dr Hub think that due to my strong family history of type 2 diabetes that I have insulin resistance ..!! So I'm going to keep my cals at 1500 but not go over 100g of carbs per day .. And that means quinioa, barley and bulgar wheat and 1slice of wholemeal seeded bread ... No potato or pasta ... I had better weight loss/maintenance when I was watching my carbs .!
    Im losing my cheekbones again .. I need to do something that suits me

    Sounds like a plan, I also gain fast when eating potatoes, bread, pasta - I love pasta though. I aim to cut this right down though and see the change, my body reacts better to high protein so I'm going to try this too. Good luck hun x

    Yep ... My body responds to higher protein too ..!!
    If I have porridge I'm starving .. And I mean I feel low low low after an hour or two .. Eggs keep me satisfied for ages. :)

    I have gotten myself do focused on this higher calorie eating that I was counting cals but eating what I want in those cals ... So to start again lol

    Lol yeah I'm doing that too lots of good stuff like brown rice, quinoa, and jumbo rolled oats to bulk out my cals. It's a shame veggies aren't higher cal I find I can eat so much and get so little cals that my meals look ridiculously big compared to my hubs spaghetti bolognese. Oh well we can do it. We will be losers this year

    It took me a year to lose a stone .. Didn't need to lose much more than that .... Over the last two or three months I have regained half a stone .... Hate myself for it but trying to fight the self hatred ...
    It's so hard for me to lose weight tho ... Took so long to lose a stone .... Here's to the next 6 months to lose this half stone .. Sigh ....

    Thanks but it needs to be half a stone flatter lol that's all I ask ... It wasn't dead flat at 9st 12 but looked So much better ..
    I certainly don't see me as sexy lol ...!!
    I wobble too much to be sexy :-D
