Thanks everyone for ur messages. Been a while since i posted on here.
SO much has happened. We now live in a wee flat by ourselfs. Settled in well. But dreading the baby arriving when i will be on my own....
The pregnancy is getting out of hand! My platelets keep dropping, are sitting about 23 just now. So have been seeing a haematoligist now too. Haemaglobin is low, white blood count is high, red blood count is low.
Had to be started on b12 injections, folic acid and iron.
To date they have delayed steroids cause i really didnt want to start them yet. so have to return to haematoligist in 2 weeks when they will discuss induction and probably start steroids
then they will give me immunogoblins prior to labour. but as these only stay in ur system around 1 week this is why they will have to induce me. my consultant is just going along with what she wants. but section/epidural/forceps/ventouse are all out for me. as are foetal blood sampling and foetal scalp monitoring. so delivery shpuld be fun. just hoping all goes well with a normal vaginal delivery to save any hassle.
Been having growth scans fortnightly too and at 33w baby is 5lb!!!!

have missed you tons but know that doesn't help. I hope you'll stick around, you have friends here even if we are 'virtual' ones we'd love to listen.
5lb is a really good weight - and hope the supplements help - I'm on iron and eating tons of cereal that is fortified with iron, B12 etc to try and help. ((Hugs)) add orange juice for absorbing the iron too.
really hope that if baby has to be induced all goes well - and that he /she is home soon with you.
Also hope that you have lots of support. Babies and children don't care about the size of their environment, only that their mum loves them and cherishes them - this I know you do and no one or nothing will ever stop that hun.

Over the weekend my nose is bleeding quite bad at nite. Waking up and im covered in blood. Then when i brush my teeth i look as tho ive been punched in the mouth!
Went xmas shopping on sat, ended up walking about for 5 hours, was soooo tired. Later that nite i noticed red spots all over my arm n legs.
went to the docs today showed him the spots and he said my platelets must be lower again. so he did a full blood count said id get the results back wed. He ended up calling me at 5 tonite to say there now at 14. ive been dreading this. im not ready for the baby yet, and there either talking about steroids or delivering! i really dont want to end up on steroids, as i still have lots to do. still have a cot to get. plus im scared om gonna balloon on steroids and id have to stay home with Rhiannon and keep her off nursery. will be so glad when this is over.
Anyway i have to go back to docs 2moro morning, and i have the mw in the afternoon. Keep ur fingers x for me that they dont do anything drastic yet

fingers tightly crossed for you - bleeding gums and nose bleeds i've been having too but not the low platelets ((hugs))
Hope they can sort something out. Have you family / friends or even someone at the nursery could take Rhiannon to nursery for you for a break? ((Hugs))
A moses basket will be fine for bubs for a long time so don't fret too much on a cot, but ordering online when you have the money is a great option too.

Thanks. apart for her dad i dont have anyone that loves near by. so not sure wot will happen... Not that theres long left in nursery now anyway. But fingers x i dont have to worry about this. its times like this it brings it home to u im home alone now... i just cant afford to be ill or go in hospital.
