My re-start Diary.....

Monday - Green Day

Green Day today....

Breakfast:-
Fried potatoes, mushrooms, 2 x Nimble white (HEB) and 1 egg made into eggy bread.

Lunch:-
couscous, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, chicken breast pieces (HEB), 1 tbsp Hellmans Light mayo (2 syns)

Dinner:-
out for dinner with friends... Indian restaurant....(oh noooo), so going to pick something dry like a chicken tikka (no sauce) and boiled rice. Will syn later when I can work it out.

Extras:-
Milk (HEA), Options(2 syns), mullerlights, banana, grapes

 
Looks good, and I am envious that you're having an indian, but funnily enough I would have worked it out different.

My first choice would have been to go for Extra Easy today (rice and chicken then free with indian, only have to syn couple for sauce, and maybe have enough for some popadums!).
It's probably a toss up between green day (free boiled rice, syn chicken) and red day (vice versa) but whichever I did I would have saved my HEb's for the indian (chicken on green day, rice on red day) to save some syns.

That just shows how flexible this plan is, and demonstrates how with enough planning there is no reason why you can't have what you fancy, and treat yourself too, all within plan :)

Well, last nights curry night was cancelled... Xbox Modern Warfare was released last night, so all the boys were meeting up on their own, and going to Xtravision at midnight, yes you heard me correctly, to get their games and to have a boys night... so when I came home from weigh in, I just had some couscous and toast.....how very boring...
Anyway.... today is a red day...

Breakfast:-
2 eggs and mushrooms fried in Fry Light, lean bacon. Half a punnet of grapes.

Lunch:-
Chicken and prawn salad (prawns, chicken breast, lettuce, beetroot, spring onions, carrots, peppers, tomatoes). 28g sweetcorn (1.5 syns),1 tbsp Hellmans Light mayo(2 syns). Melon.

Dinner:-
slow cooker cooked chicken, skin removed, cabbage, mangetout, 142g garden peas (HEB), slice of SW 'chocolate' cake (3.5 syns), spoonful of Total 0% yoghurt with Splenda.

Extras:-
4 Ryvita (HEB), 28g Philadelphia Light (2 syns), milk (HEA), Options (2 syns)

Total Syns today = 11
 
Wednesday - Red Day

Breakfast:-
2 x Asda Meat Free Lincolnshire sausages (2 syns), 1 egg fried in Fry Light, mushrooms fried in Fry Light, 2 x Nimble white toasted (HEB), 2 tsps Flora Extra lite (1 syn), grapes.
Lunch:-
2 x Nimble White (HEB), 2 x slices Kerry Low Low cheese (HEA), 2 tsps Flora Extra Lite (1 syn) chicken breast sliced with salad (lettuce, tomatoes, beetroot, scallions, carrots), melon
Dinner:-
lean steak, 56g garden peas (2 syns), mushrooms, beansprouts
Extras:-
banana, fudge (6 syns), pepsi max, water
Total syns = 12
 
I know. Although you dont get much for your 6 syns.... would have been a Turkish Delight had I had enough syns left... but you are right, you could'nt beat it with a big stick. ! !
 
Thursday - Green day

Green Day for me today...
Breakfast :-
Asda Meat free lincolnshire sausages (3 syns), scrambled egg, mushrooms,
2 Nimble White toasted(heb), 2 tsp Flora Extra Lite (1 syn)

Lunch:-
homemade potato skins with cheese (42g low far cheddar - (hea)) and homemade garlic dip (2 tbsp hellmans light - 4 syns), garlic and herbs

Dinner:-
Asda meat free fillet (3.5 syns) served with couscous salad(couscous, tomatoes, cucumber, beetroot, scallion, peppers)

Extras:-
2 Alpen Lite bars (heb), milk (hea) Options (2 syns)
TOTAL SYNS TODAY= 13.5
 
Friday - Red Day

Red Day today.....
Breakfast:-
2 Quorn sausages
Mushrooms cooked in Fry Light
2 eggs
2 Nimble White (heb) made into eggy bread

Lunch:-
Teriyaki Prawn stir fry
Prawns, mangetout, onion, peppers, babycorn etc, 1 tbsp Teriyaki sauce (2 syns). melon

Dinner:-
Gammon cooked in slow cooker, served with carrots, cabbage, cauliflower cheese (half packet of Colemans Cheese Sauce-4 syns) and milk (hea), 14g reduced cheddar (2 syns)

Extras:-
fudge (6 syns), ryvitta minis (heb), banana, grapes, mullerlight, pepsi max, water
Total syns today = 14

Just checking, your Quorn sausages are they the syn free ones? I only ask because some are free and some aren't.

If you fancied real sausages, seeing as you're on a red day, I believe Morrisons do some which are syn free, and they seem quite popular with people on Minimins, though I have never had them myself.

We dont have a Morrisons over here. :cry:
best I could do would be Asda half fat ones at 1 syn each but they were in the freezer and I couldnt be arsed. ! ! lol

2 Nimble (heb), 2 eggs scrambled,(SF) mushrooms(SF) and 2 Quorn sausages(SF) cooked in Fry Light

Lunch:-
savoury rice, with extra spring onions(SF), beetroot(SF), cucumber(SF) and lean chicken breast diced..
3 scan bran (1.5 syns), 3 Laughing cow extra lite triangles (1/2 of HEA)

Dinner:-
Lean steak, SW chips, peas(SF), carrots(SF)
Half packet of Schwartz pepper sauce (2 syns)

Extras:-
2x ryvita crackerbread (2 syns), 3 laughing cow extra lite (other 1/2 hea)
banana, grapes, mullerlights, pepsi max, water, Snack a Jacks (5.5 syns)
Total Syns today= 11
