My slim n save diary!

    After losing nearly 3 stone with slim n save last year I have got on the scales to find that I have put it all back on again so time to start again!
    This might not be the most exciting thread but it helps me to stay focused just writing the odd thing down and doing a weigh in once a week so here goes; coke zero-check, skimmed milk-check, blender-check, day 1!

    Day 1 over, on to day 2. For me the hardest days are 3 and 4 where I go through this mental battle of trying to talk myself into and out of eating and every type of food I walk past smelling 100x stronger and nicer than usual!

    its not just me that talks to themselves then lol. i was the same on days 3 and 4 as well. even got the stuff out the fridge 2 make myself sumthin but talked myself out of it. on2 my 2nd week 2moz. gd luck wiv ur weight loss journey

    It gets really easy after a while but it's just getting through the first couple of weeks, I just have to keep thinking of all the positives, of which there are far more of than negatives!
    if you've done 1 week already you've done the hardest part!
    On to day 3 now.............

    Glad you're doing well. I think week 1 is the hardest for physical symptoms but I found weeks 2 and 3 quite tricky mentally. As you say concentrate on those positives and you'll soon be noticing all those differences.

    Had a dicey moment last night having to make bacon sandwiches but managed to get through it and read some interior magazines to take my mind of it. I know that I am nearly at the top of the hill now and about to run down the other side!
    On to day 4. :)

    Well done, keep it up. I am on day 12 now and am in the zone and 1 stone down already! This is a means to and end and I know where I went wrong last time with regaining so I need to concentrate on not making the same mistakes.

    I know I don't write loads but it really does help to jot something down every day and read all your comments so thank you. I'm on day 5 now and I had bad breath last night so I know I'm on the home straight now yay! I could be slim for xmas :) optimistic I know but that is the ultimate goal!

    On to day 6,can't wait for Monday weigh in as that always makes it easier to stick to the diet when you see the scales go down!

    how are you finding it?, I'm feeling a bit weak at the moment, I'm waiting for the supposed energy rush! nice to see someone on the same day as me, do you have a lot to lose?

    Umm abt js over a stone n half hpin to see the eights soon lol..see hw i luk like wen get there....drink lots of water hun :) u will get the rush n the metallix taste too :) yh ma diary rant lot lol bt ploddin along hehe zxxx

    you'll do that in no time, it gets way easier after the first week or two so we've done the hardest part!
