Good on getting scales... but stop scale hopping. Once a week, same time, same attire, etc. I was pleased to lose one pound my first week on WW ProPoints... esp. as I did a half-^sseed job of following the plan. I will endevour to do better this week. (I have booked in for a Aquafit tonight.)

Like Kelly, I am not so good with the water. Loads of coffee, but need to push the water. I know "The more you drink, the more you shrink." It does seem true for me... perhaps, it is all the exercisse I get walking to and from the loo?

I have new car fever, too. But, we'll wait until we pretty much HAVE to buy a new one. And, we may not need to do that... as DS has a small car that runs well (has low mileage) and he will be headed out to the States in the next year, if not sooner.

I am looking at summer hols (late booking). I have a 7 day Med cruise booking reserved atm. I need to look at airfares and other bits and bobs. It would be our first cruise. (DH is not thrilled about the idea, but both our birthdays are coming up, and our 25th anniversary in January, so it'll count for family holiday, birthdays and our anniversary... probably Christmas -- too!)

I feel your pain about the school not following Madam's iep... I get so frustrated with how much I can accomplish at home verses how little happens at school. UGH! If it weren't for the socialisation, I would homeschool DD.

I hope you are well, and will forgive me for being a bit absent... it has been crazy busy these past few weeks.

im forcing myself to stick to it, my holidays in the middle of september and im currenty 2 stone heavier than when we went last year, ive effectively wasted a whole year, ive got to get this finished and get down to where i want to be

oooooo a cruise! always wanted to go on a luxery cruise, very nice!

if it wasnt for them taking the car i have now back then i wouldnt be looking at new ones mel but i got the confirmation thru this morning that its full steam ahead for the swap over so will be in a kia in october!

am sure you will do well with weight watchers this week mel, you know what to be doing this week and youve got ur fitness planned. i shall be doing more fitness this week too, im walking basement dog for my sister, lol

yeah school seems to move so slowly with sorting out how to help madam, never mind ive got her for 6 weeks now to try and get her moved further along

My CFF (Cheese Fiend Friend) is an avid cruiser, and she warned be about Costa (a mutual friend went on one was dismayed). I am looking at Royal Caribbean as I have heard good things. I also read up on the reviews. I need to suss the flights, etc. to get a better idea of the total initial costs for DH. Then, there will be excursions, etc. to spend moola on... I know it'll be a pricy holiday, but DS is 20 and will be back in the States to finish up Uni (possibly never to return home), so if we are doing this as family it needs to be now.

well ive been out on an hor and a half walk with basement dog, lol were still having a bit of a power struggle over who's in charge

i went out looking a scruff in legins and a long top, hair scraped back and no make up but managed to get an upwards nod and a wink from a guy in a van, lol

he was on his own but lord was he cute, with dreads, oh i love dreads, lol

just had another hour and a half walk courtesy of the dog, were still in discussions over whos in charge, doesnt help that my bro in law takes him out without the haltee collor on so the dogs confused over why i insist on it

so todays weight is 17st 10lb, im getting there slowly

ummmm my breath has reached ultimate minging status, doesnt matter how much i brush or how much water i drink its just terrible

good job S is at a wedding this weekend, he would run a mile at my death breath

finally its friday, just the weekend to get through before weigh in

today i shall be walking the mad dog and trying to keep madam free from grottiness
poor kid has the thick green gunge and is now coughing and sounding tight, that means its heading for her chest so having to suction her and hope she doesnt end up with another chest inection

Hi Claire,

Sorry to hear that Madam is unwell.

I agree with Shanny -- in general I am not a fan of fringe, but I think yours really suits you. It sets off your very lovely eyes (and no shame about the rest of you -- you have done well -- and it should be more about health and fitness. Although, you must be pretty strong as you are often having to lift and carry madam.

I know the dog belongs to your sister (at least I think it does), but did you explain why it is called "basement" dog? I must've missed it if you did.

I wish the weather would improve... it is so dreary here in Cambs.
