New Year Challenge

Started this thread as a bit of a motivational help for me and my friend Kim.

Just want to set a target to try and reach by 1/1/12. Our closest WI to that date is the 2/1/12 so that will be our last WI date.

Any motivational tips would be appreciated too :)

By 1/1/12 I would like to have lost 2 stone. That means I have 18lb to lose.

We'll start our mission from our next WI which is on the 21st.

So lets get this ball rolling...

Not quite sure what to do here, maybe I'm admitting defeat before I've got properly started - because.. I have 8lb to lose to get back to target, I'm currently participating in the December challenge, there I have 8lb to lose by weigh in no 5, I would like to achieve this but realistically don't think it will happen, soooo I'll put myself in for the new year challenge, this will give me a bit extra time. I'll put on 8lb to lose on the list but will update it as December progresses so hopefully I will have lost some more before the challenge begins, hope that makes sense!

Can I join pleasr. I always go for a big loss and fail in these challenges so I'm going to be more realistic with myself and allow for a few treats at Christmas. It would be rude not to have some champagne.

I tend to be the same Catmonkey, instead of being realistic and setting something achievable I always go over the top and make my target too high, then disappoint myself when I don't reach my goal. Fingers crossed I've got it right this time.
 
Morning all, can I join please? :) Think it will do me good to set some smaller goals rather than just having my current final goal weight (though I am sure that will change once I get there!)

I have quite a lot planned between now and NY so I don't think it will be the fastest weight loss time so I am going to put myself down for 7lbs to allow for some gains along the way!!
