Sona on Dukan Diet- Restart

Ewwww. I cant eat mine that rare. Mark likes his rare but i have to have mine still pink NOT red and juices running clear. If im out i order med to well done so then they almost get it right unless its in a restaurant i know can cook a steak

lol i love reading ur posts guys!

im not too sure what form it comes in but its supposed to make the meat tender! lolz

yesterday went well i think.. i stuck to my protien.
had a yog for brekki then beef and cottage cheese and chicken soup for dinner with 2 chicken patties.

Today had scrambled egg with a dash of skim milk in it.
lunch was nandoes but i peeled all the skin off and came off with it all the sauces and spices so it was actually just white meat, not the way i like my nandoes but still attack friendly! Made my first sucessful oat pancake today with my brand new state of the art pancake maker! Yes i invested in a non stick pan AND a pancake maker.. will probs use a dash of oil with kitchen paper instead of frylight for this as it was a bit sticky. Dinner will be beef with cottage cheese and and maybe a small serving of chicken soup.

i havent been vey hungry today to be honest but have been eating a little somic every few hours.

have also indulged in wafer thin chicken slice with a tiny bit of cottage cheese rolled up as a quick nibble! dont worry only had about 3 over the last 2 days.

Sneaky peek at weight still on 12.4.0 as yesterday but duno if im gona see a change as TOM is also around.

The website said i should only do 3 days of attack but iv planned menu's for 5 days to give my body a chance to notice something has changed! its very stubborn! I have to addmitt i have not been able to get 20 mins walk in or near enough water. Back at work tomorow and back at the gym so hopefully will make up for that.

BTW the chicken patties:
3 kg chicken mince
2 medium onions processed
1 fresh chilli
1 teaspoon chillies heaped
1 teaspoon salt level
1 tablespoon tandoori masala powder level

= 40 grilled patties

they have gone straight to freezer and they taste LUSH!
im thinking of having 2 after every 2-3 days for one meal only

on PP days will have with chicken, blobs of philli and ketchup chopped up in a box for work... pop it in the microwave and tasts really nice

on PV days will have with crunchy lettuce as a sandwich!

Lovely post Sona... you're sounding really organised and motivated. Well done you!

yes well done you :)
those chicken patties sound lovely. :D

thanks!

i feel better knowing i have some food prepared!!
oh i prefer to be organised or i dont feel like im in control!

todays looks line
breki- pancake
tea
lunch- soup, yogart
boiled eggs
dinner - beef and cottage cheese

I dont think your alone there hun. I know both myself and Vicky feel better to know what we are eating in advance

I'm worse - when invited out, I get quite stressed if I DON'T KNOW what I'm eating and when!

me too. One of my favourite passtimes is reading menus lol

You're my twin Vicky... and, as such, I'm REALLY sorry for you!

lol Joanne. I love deciding where to eat out depending on downloadable menus lol

Wherever i go i always ask for a meat from the menu and extra veg or salad. Easy and ive not yet been told i cant have it, if i ever do i'll just leave!

yes ive asked for fish without the potatoes and swap them for more veg or salad!

You're right of course! I've even read that some weight conscious stars don't even look at the menu but simply ask for what they'd like! It's the whole dressing palaver that can cause issues - I ask for no dressing here on salad, easy... but there's a chain of restaurants (note Cheryl!) called "Hippo" who specialise in grilled steaks and meats, so excellent for us, but who PERSIST in putting butter on their green beans much as I request that they don't! grrr

But I've been to people's houses and nibbled on my left arm discreetly when dinner doesn't appear and it's 8pm! haaaa!

Lol. Right no Hippo restaurants. Thanks. Oh while we are kind of on the subject, what is the equlivent of semi skimmed milk? I know its green top over here but cant remember for over there. Oliver has to have it on his cereal. Lol. Also can you recommend ant foods i can bring with me that are cheaper here. If it will save me money i'd rather bring it over with me, if not get it there.

omg i have to eat before 8!
i have brekkie at bout 8.30 when ive walked dogs (unless its raining lol), lunch at 12 then tea i try to get before 6. unless i go shopping then i have it whenever I get in!

French people eat very late... Spanish later still (I needed a 4th meal when on holiday with Spanish people!! tea + dinner!)...

Cheryl... semi skimmed is demi écrémé; skimmed is écrémé.
Any typical English things will be dearer here (so bring your own baked beans etc...). Toiletries too if you're coming on the boat! Sun screen. Virtually everything come to that! haaaaa!

Hippo is ok but ask for salad without dressing and don't fall for them offering green beans... I keep doing that! duh!

Vicky - so if you have dinner at 6pm, do you then eat nothing further until you go to bed...?

My meals are later than yours. Typically 9.30am breakfast; lunch around 1pm. Snack around 4.30pm. Dinner (main only) around 7.30-7.45pm. I don't get home until 6.45pm...

Thanks ofr that Jo. I dont have set times only breakfast is normally before 11am, lunch around 1.30-2ish and dinner can be anything up to about 8pm. If im at work dinner can be at 11inh or even 1am sometimes.

Gosh yes... if I'm travelling at night, I can fit two extra meals in!!
