Wednesday 3rd December – Green day - am starving today!!! 3 days til * week think that's why - I think I'll struggle today at work to stay out of the biscuit/choc tin!!

Friday – Green day – tgt 20 syns - WI day - sts again I'm so fed up now! But it's * week from tomorrow so maybe that's why, I wasn't even that bad at the weekend for a change! I really feel like giving it up til after Christmas but I know I'll put about 5lbs on so want to lose some of it first if that makes sense!!! Thinking I might need to switch back to WW coz I think maybe I'm eating too many calories on SW as I don't do any exercise, I lost 3 stone on WW 5 years ago and 2 stone of it has stayed off, might do that after crimbo. I could always start exercising I suppose I just don't have anyone to go to classes or swimming with and I never stick to it long enough doing DVDs at home. Hmm whinge over, here's today's menu:

Well I didn't have time to update my diary over the weekend so I'll try and remember what I ate, I didn't stick to plan as was wedding dress shopping (I bought one!!) on Sat then last night we went out for an Indian for a friend's birthday!!

Saturday 6th December - Green Day (ish!)
B: 2 x ww bread (HEB), 2 x frylited eggs, brown sauce (1 syn)
L: Cheese (HEA x 2) and bacon (HEB) toastie (2 x white bread 10 syns?) with a few chips (4 syns?)
D: Plain chow mein (2 syns for oil), few chips (8 syns?), gravy (4 syns?), 1/3 portion s and s chicken (9 syns?)

VERY bad day!!! Estimated syns: 37! :eek:

Sunday 7th December - Mix2Max
B: 2 x sausage, 2 x bacon, 1 x frylited egg, 1 x wm roll (HEB), Tom K (1 syn)
L: 1/2 pack mild cheese & broccoli pasta n sauce (HEA) with added Quorn pieces, sweetcorn & peas
Snk: Mini galaxy (6.5 syns), 2 x mini cad chocs (4 syns), advent calendar choc (2 syns)
D: Indian! Had 1 poppadum with tbsp mango chutney and onion salad, chicken tikka starter (dry), 1/2 portion mushroom rice (syns) with 1/2 portion chicken tikka massala (syns for creamy sauce) and 1/4 garlic naan (syns) - no idea of syns I just know it's bad! :rolleyes:

So that was my VERY bad weekend!
 
Monday 8th December - Green Day - back on plan today so I can at least hope to sts AGAIN! Going to try and stick to less than 10 syns a day and only one HEA if I can as I get plenty of calcium from yoghurts too, I think I eat too much cheese! It's so hard this time of year trying to lose weight what with meals out and xmas chocs everywhere in sight! I will do my best to stick to it during the week but this Sat coming I have my work's night out which is a meal at the Indian again!!!

Tuesday 9th December - Green day again - feeling really de-motivated about 'dieting' at the mo - think it's with Christmas coming up knowing I've got a few meals out ahead of me and also I have now bought my wedding dress :D so no pressure now to get as small a size as I could!! Not that I want to put weight on now but I feel like I'm not too bothered about staying the same for a while now that is not a good attitude to be up against is it?! My BMI is JUST on the high end of 'healthy' so I don't want the scales to start going up although I know they will over Christmas week coz I'm off work :break_diet:

Wednesday 10th December - day off work Christmas shopping - had a great day but definitely not SW friendly! I have no idea of syns but I'll write what I had so that when I look back I can see why I've put weight on this week!!!

Friday 12th December - Green Day - WI - have not stuck to plan very well this week had Indian on Saturday night then Wednesday off plan which possibly hasn't caught up with me yet but......I have lost 1.5lbs this week!! :D I cannot believe it I've been struggling with SW the last week or so and have had more syns and time off plan and I've lost weight :confused: Last night I was sat down and bf poked my midrift and said 'what's that?' how horrible are men sometimes (no offence to any reading this!:eek:) so this morning I was expecting a gain and I've had a loss don't know how but I have! :8855: I'll try and stick to plan as much as I can this next week to make sure things don't 'catch up' with me. Anyway rambling over, today's menu (tgt less than 25 syns):

Not sure I can remember everything but I'll try - very confused as I seem to have lost another 2lbs since Friday - wondering whether my scales are on the blink!!! Hope not but seems strange I've lost so much in the last week when I've not really stuck to it or maybe I had got in a rut of eating the same things and my metabolism needed a kickstart I don't know!!

Saturday 13th December - Green Day - work xmas night out so knew I wouldn't be sticking to it today but did up until I went out then just ate small portions!

D: Indian - had 1 poppadum with small amount of mango chutney, 3 pieces of saag chicken and 1 piece of chicken tikka masala, 1 portion of pilau rice and 1/4 peshwari naan bread, 1 chocolate, 5 x malibu and diet coke and 1 small glass of Lambrini - so lots of syns but could have been alot worse!!!

Sunday 14th December - Mix 2 Max
B: Banana
L: 2 x sausage, 3 x bacon, 1 x frylited egg, 2 x ww bread (HEB), mushrooms, Flora x light (1 syn), brown sauce (1 syn)
Snk: Advent calendar chocs x 2 (4 syns)
D: Aaaargh couldn't be bothered to cook and bf never does so he ordered 10" pizza and chips and I had 3 slices (1 x HEB for chicken, 2 x HEA for cheese plus syns) and 1/3 portion of the chips (syns)!

So all in all a very bad weekend yet again!

Found out this afternoon my Dad had a very mild heart attack yesterday and today - went to see him at hospital he is ok thank god! Keeping him in for a few days and doing some tests - can you believe yesterday he went to hospital with chest pains and they sent him home with some Gaviscon!!
D: Quorn turkey escalope (5 syns) with 1/2 pack pasta n sauce
Syns: 13, and forgot to have other 1/2 HEB!

I know, I couldn't believe when my Dad's wife said he had been sent home from hospital the day before still having chest pains with some indigestion remedy :eek:! His pains got worse and so she took him to his GP the next day and his GP sent him straight to hospital when they then checked him properly and discovered it was a mild heart attack - it's disgusting really I mean he is lucky it didn't get ALOT worse! He is 59 and his Dad died of a heart attack when he was younger than that you would think they would have taken that into consideration too. Anyway the main thing is he seems to be ok now, pending test results so fingers crossed!! Thanks for replying :) I have been struggling with SW lately although somehow last week I lost weight, so am really trying to stick to it as close to xmas as I can!

Thursday 18th December - omg can't believe it's a week today I've still got sooooo much wrapping of presents to do!! Anyway Green Day again....finding it hard to resist the Christmas chocs and cake at work now!!! And I bought some Mr Kipling pies for Christmas and when I checked the date they were out of date early this week so bf decided he must eat them last night I did really well to resist having one coz I love them! Not sure I'll have the same willpower tonight......:break_diet:

Snk after hospital: Was so hungry and needed comfort food so instead of tucking into the xmas pies and chocs I made some free rice pudding!! 50g pudding rice, 250ml semi-skimmed milk, sweetener - was lovely!

Syns: 13.5 (will try not to go over this but seeing Dad in hosp tonight so hope I don't resort to comfort eating afterwards!)

Aaaaarrrgghhhh - I've tried to post 2 entries this morning and both times it has not posted and I've had to re-type it!!! So...3rd time lucky....
Had a bad weekend food-wise - I didn't eat alot but what I did eat (apart from sw friendly breakfast's both days) was bad! I had HEBs both days and a HEA too. Not alot of fruit or veg or water though! I am going to try and stick to sw Monday and Tuesday as far as I can and then that's it for me over Christmas - I love this time of year and have been struggling a bit sticking to plan the last few weeks so although I'm going to try and make sure I have 2 HEBs and at least one HEA along with 3 pieces of fruit or veg every day I am not going to count syns! I don't mind gaining a bit of weight over Christmas - normally around 5lbs! as I love this time of year. I will get straight back on it on Monday 5th January when I return to work, I might still keep a diary if I have time to see exactly HOW BAD I'm being but we will see....

Anyway MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! :)
