Working on Dukan - My journal to a slimmer me.

Fantastic, PJ! You'll be there in no time.

I dream of food all the time when I'm on dukan. Usually involves raiding the fridge, though, not hoarding things away :)

D- thank goodness I'm not alone here! I wish that I had at least eaten some of the stuff in my dream last night!

Tonight was an epicly awesome Dukan approved salad with onions, carrots, cabbage, lettuce, low sodium and low fat ham, chicken, and boiled eggs: SO GOOD. Completely full.

aaah those food porn dreams are notorious! And remarkably calorie free! :)

Funny, isn't it! I still have the occasional smoking dream, after almost 10 years without a puff :)

Well, I'll take the calorie-free food dreams! Especially when I wake up so full!

The husband made some sugar free pudding last night - weird, but good. And I woke up to a .2 lb loss!

Another 1.2lbs down yesterday. I thought for sure that I would probably not lose anything because I ate quite a bit of this carrot dip that I made. And then before I went to bed I had some home with cream cheese and herbs on it. It's always when I think I've eaten too much for any diet to work that Dukan works really well. Dukan always surprises me with how much you can eat - and never feel hungry - and STILL lose weight.

So much closer!

You're rocking this diet, PJ! Well done!

Excellent loss, and look how close you are to target... and you're discovering delicious sounding recipes... (I do enjoy pumpkin pie if ever I'm lucky enough to find somewhere serving it here at Thanksgiving!). I'll have to look to see if they sell canned pumpkin here... I can't deal with the whole beast!

Thanks, Joanne! Pumpkin is nice to have on hand! I made some carrot and pumpkin puffs today that were pretty tasty.

I made some Dukan approved chili tonight - No-Bean Chili | Dukantopia - and I added additional hot sauce - probably more sodium than my normal intake. I guess more water to drink tonight and probably a stall on the scale for tomorrow morning, but onward and onward!

.6 off from yesterday, so my overdose of chili and possible sodium frenzy wasn't too overwhelming. I'm making some more chili - this time chicken - tonight, and I'll be careful with the sodium! No more hot sauce, just spices. Tomorrow our church is having a celebration and I'll be eating there for lunch, so we'll have to see what I eat tomorrow. I'll do a pv day tomorrow so that I won't feel too badly about not eating all of the fruit options. PP on Monday, then. So close from my tw!

Congrats, pj! And your meal plans are inspiring me to get busy in the kitchen today :)

Eek. The church festivities today included me eating: bread, baked beans, mac and cheese, and a cookie - plus more; even though I could have actually eaten completely dukan friendly foods. AND I ate too fast and couldn't figure out I was full until I was FAR too full. I ate more for lunch than I normally do in an ENTIRE day. Probably not going to see a loss tomorrow. I hate having to play catch-up. AND next weekend my husband and I are going to his great aunt's for the day, which means eating out.

Welp, a pp day tomorrow and some stricter guidelines for myself for the future. Control is my weakness. I just have absolutely no self control. Seriously. I feel like if I'm there, I might as well eat everything. ARgh.

Happens to the best of us! You are doing brilliantly so don't beat yourself up xx
Today is a new day.

Today IS a new day. Thanks for reminding me, Julie! :)

I weighed .2 less than yesterday, so the fact that I was full the whole day yesterday except for some yogurt before bed probably helped me after I overloaded on food. Today is a day full of working on my thesis and I think I'll run to the post office up the block if it doesn't rain.

Clothes-wise, EVERYTHING is fitting better. My capris that were pretty much the only pants that I could comfortably wear can now slide right off of me. I can fit into all of my clothes now, not just the ones that are big and bulky. I'm pretty happy. Now to get these last few pounds off and work on Consolidating!

AHHH! Only two more pounds to go! I'm so excited!
I spent all last night looking for delicious desserts to try out today. It's "that time" of the month and I found some really awesome recipes that I'm going to make Dukan friendly. I'll share them if they turn out.

I made Salisbury steaks yesterday for dinner - pp is great when I make those - with this red wine sauce. Delicious! But, I'm glad that it's a pv day, because I wanted veggies yesterday. I'm glad that I didn't relent because waking up that much closer to my goal is nice.

Great news, PJ. We all slip up from time to time, and luckily it hasn't really affected your progress. Will be listening out for the cheers when you hit tw!

And what a GORGEOUS profile pic. How nice to see you at last :)
