Elle is Getting Her Act Together... *again*!

Wow! Well done on the losses Elle, that's brilliant!! And thanks for giving me your CDC's details, I'll give her a call, hope she's available to travel to Leicester city, as I'm a 'humble' pedestrian... or should I say that I do my bit for the environment? :-D How much do you pay per week? I...

Elle is Getting Her Act Together... *again*!

Hiya Elle, ditto! I'm fine, though it is disturbing when someone dies, especially as I'm so far away. My granny was nearly 90 after all, but it makes you think what would happen when (touch wood!!!) something else goes wrong with someone else in the family. After all, its not a matter of 'if'...

Elle is Getting Her Act Together... *again*!

Hi Elle, sorry to hear about your granny. Mine died a couple of weeks ago, but could not make it to the funeral (the other side of the world :( ) It's understandable you gave in to the food, but don't worry, you'll get there, the weight loss on the other hand sounds great, and the situation with...

How much do you pay for your meal packs?

Hmm... that sounds tempting... but £140 in one go... why are good plans never without drawbacks? Anyone knows a 'hostile' CDC in the Midlands? Lol! I read in another thread that LT has gone up to £36, is that for all LT chemists?? If so, I'd definetely go for CD, same price more flavours!
  8. M

How much do you pay for your meal packs?

Thank you all for your answers, and thanks for that link Linda, the flavours of CD always sound yummy. The only thing I don't like about CD is that you need a counsellor. I understand the logic of it, but I hate the hassle of having to arrange to meet someone to get the stuff for your diet...

How much do you pay for your meal packs?

Hi all, I am thinking of getting back on a diet. I tried LT a while ago, but I'm wondering how much does it cost in other VLCDs? and what flavours do you have? LT was cheaper (£30 a week), don't know if the price has gone up lately or if they've added more flavours? But what about W8, LL and...

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum and good luck with the weigh in. It's great that you've managed to stick with it, but I have to agree with Rachel. Weight training verses Cardiovascular

Cardio uses up your glycogen stores before moving on to the fat reserves, but since you're barely getting any forms of sugar, you will feel quite tired pretty quickly. Your pharmacist is both right and wrong. Cardio will burn off fat while you're at it and a bit more during recovery. Weight...

    Weight Gain - Help!

Thanks Missleo, I will do. The weird thing is, even when I was 10 stone I was comfortable, yet not pleased. I wanted to go down to 9, that's my dream really, but I'm taking it easy, and if and when I get to 10 I'll see if I want to push it further ;)

    Weight Gain - Help!

I guess I'm taller than you Charlotte... I'm currently a snug M&S size 14, which we all know means an ordinary 16... maybe even 18 for designer brands... if they ever manufactured clothes that big! In the back of my wardrobe I have some size 8 tops that I got when I was on my lowest weight (9st...

Thanks for your comments Bea and Rachel, and well done with your weightlosses, they are really inspiring! I just had my first shake, it was nicer than I expected. Do you also exercise or only diet? At some point I'd like to start exercising, but don't know when would that be advisable... the...

    Weight Gain - Help!

Hi Missleo, Well, at the time I was having that for breakfast I wasn't aiming to lose weight, but to become all lean and toned :( wish I was there still! I was 10 stone at the time and really rigorous with my exercise and my eating. I just don't have the time anymore to do that sadly, but I'm...

    Weight Gain - Help!

I'm starting on LT tomorrow. But about slim fast, some time ago (seems like ages, but about 1-2 years) I was a dedicated gym bunny in a very clean diet. Because I'd do the gym before work at 6 am, it was easier for me to have a shake rather than a tuna/boiled chicken breakfast, and since protein...

Cant you order the shakes straight from the site? I've seen there's websites that sell the maintenance products, but maybe if you call them and ask? £14 extra a week sounds like a lot of money to me... actually I hope I get quick results as I cannot afford this for too long! lol! How much...

    My journey begins here

Hi guys! Thanks for your encouragement and welcoming messages. To be honest, I'm excited but also rather anxious about what's to come, you know, the headaches, hunger, tiredness and all. And as many in the forums, I'm also concerned about putting weight back on (if and when) after I lose it. I...
