    From 17's to 16's

Hello All Earlier in the year I was headed towards the 14 st mark, obviously things have REALLY slipped for me and the pounds have piled back on and I feel gutted with myself, but I'm wanting to 'grasp the nettle' and restart and be good again. Previously I had been feeling great, last year July...

    Minky's meals!

The magic pancakes were wonderful and will def do again. I even wondered about making some and taking them into work to eat cold... they reminded me in some ways of those scotch pancakes, they'll be lovely with berries. My x trainer was bought from ebay the other week for £63, no where near the...

    Minky's meals!

You're doing so well Minks, I guess my weight loss is slow and steady and I should be thankful for that - I'm 2lbs off the 3 and a half stone mark, apart from last weeks loss of 6lbs due to illness. Keep up the good work Minks, hope all your challenges are met.

    MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

I hadn't heard about potato being a source for food poisioning before, but guess all things go bad and breed nasties at some stage. Same with rice, you have to be careful storing and reheating it as it can give you a very unpset tum.

As I am doing SW from home I don't have the opportunity to be part of a walking group, but will explore the exercise forums to see if there is anything that I could post or is already posted. I think I'm lucky with the gym that I'm using as it is a local authority one, so there are all types of people using it and I don't feel that it's too uncomfortable for the larger person. I was chuffed with myself yesterday as I decided that I was going to do a distance of 10Km somehow, so...

    Saturday weigh in

I fell off the whole diet thing in mid November, I thought it was health issues that kept me from losing weight but truly examining my diet I realise that I was lying totally to myself and that so many sins had crept into my diet when I thought I was being good. So yesterday I reread my diet...

    What do you pay?

£18 pm, which includes use of all facilities and classes, it has great opening times. Run by the local council, had loads of money spent on it a couple of years ago so that it would be used as a trainning facility prior to the Olympics, although the private run gyms are swish they cost a lot...
