Hmpphhh... well, I had my second week weigh in this morning and I was only down 2.5lbs.

I am trying to keep things in perspective because I had such a great loss in my first week - I am only 2.5lbs off a stone in two weeks - I just feel like I've hit a bit of a plateau. I have been this weight since the weekend, and I'm not moving. (Again, SHAME on me for weighing myself so regularly).

I know if I keep to plan the weight will come off, and I have no intention of giving up until I reach goal - just felt a bit deflated this morning I guess.

It is still going in the right direction. I think you will probably see a better loss next week. Drink more water it does seem to make a difference -although it is pretty hard to get it down you. Basically it is a long haul thing! I lose slowly but look at that chances are I won't be as quick to put it back on. It just probably seems a small loss beacuse of your big loss last week.
 
I know you feel it does not seem like a great loss compare to your mammoth loss last week but remember it is all going in the correct direction. You must give yourself credit for your loss regardless of your disappointment. Many others would love that loss a week, as it is not so easy to achieve. Chin up you’ll get to where you want to be. I'm not weighting myself weekly I’m judging by how my clothes fit or don’t fit as the case may be. I’m not sure I could cope with looking at the numbers I’m too much of a wimp. Well done on your loss.


 
Well done on your weight loss. I'm sorry you feel a bit deflated. You have done amazingly well, and you are determined to keep going. Good luck for another good weight loss next week.
 
Chin up chuck. 2.5lbs is brilliant! Since starting Atkins I've lost the grand total of.......nothing!
I think I need to bump up my thread on the stages of Exante cos you've just hit one lol x

2lb 5 is fab. It's your second week and it's a great loss! I think there is only 1lb 5 between us now...!!! Both aiming for 10st!!! :D
I daren't post photos of me at my brutal worst - I would need a panoramic lens to get the whole of my backside in view and I may run the risk of being barred due to the highly offensive nature of the photos!;)
Remember, think of your goal-you'll get there!!

I do exactly the same thing. If I weigh myself half way through the week and have lost a noticeable amount of weight, I then expect the same amount for the second half of the week. Always disappointed when it doesn't work out that way - and it never does!

12lbs is fab - keep it up. :)
