Been on website and looked in books - 2 x most wholemeal slices = 1 x HEB B but can't find Warburtons seeded batch listed. Would Warburtons seeded batch be 2 slices for 1 x HEB B or just the 1 slice?

Just double checked in the Food Directory that it hasn't changed since earlier this year. The seeded loaves aren't Healthy Extras.

I think it's because the seeds have a syn value on top of the bread amount. Seeds are on p20 in the Food Optimising book (the one where the progress record is in the middle). xx

You are NOT thick hun, it is a wholemeal loaf, but like suepat says, its because of the seeds in the loaf.

If you double check the nutritional information for it, and reckon it matches well with others that are HEb's, then contact SW and tell them, ask them to consider adding it as a HEb.

Vixxxxter I think it was did it recently for a wholemeal flour and got it accepted and now she can make rolls and pizza, etc!

She has lead the way for a people's SW revolution haha.

    Good luck :)

Does that mean SW members are revolting? :sign0151:

That's handy to know about - the wholemeal flour. Goes to show there's a lot of changes I'm going to have to get my mushy old 41 year old brain around!!!

Things like poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, are 8 syns for 28 grms and sesame seeds are 8.5 syns. If you add the syns values to your bread it would come out as more than 6 syns which is the average healthy extra. Having said that Sainsbury's Taste the Difference, Soft Wholemeal Multiseeded Batch Bread, 800g thick sliced loaf is only 5.5 syns per slice .x
