Helping you set your recommended amount of calories...

Down to 140.8lbs today!! And I went over my 1500 by bout 600cals!! Can't believe it! Defo sticking to this :) throwing scales out today!!


Awesome. Glad another converted!!!!

First go on Treadmill today. Felt great. 35 mins done in total in 25mins -10 mins. Going to try for 40 mins one day then 20 mins and about 15-20 mins weight training next day and alternate.
Going out tomorrow to look at some weights, go over in laws, have a pizza express for lunch, go around a shopping mall and then play some pool! Dunno whether I'll have the energy/time to do weights at weekends because we also go out shopping or to a museum or something so I might leave weights for 3x a week....depends how I feel! I think I might start up an exercise diary?
 
I've not been around for over a week due to being in hospital with my daughter but I've just caught up on this thread. Eating to BMR is great but you do realise that your BMR changes every single day according to how your body fluctuates. My scales show my BMR amongst many other things and if I weigh myself every day my BMR is different if I've lost even .point something of a kg or lb

Thanks. She's not good. Happy in herself but no change physically. She's lost all feeling in her right leg and her right hand. We are waiting for a bed in Nottingham hospital to see a neurological specialist.

I've been eating around my BMR for a while and I seem to be maintaining but as I still want to lose at least 1 1/2 stone I need to start eating less again. The problem is I'm struggling to eat less now. At least I know I can maintain :)

Are you doing any exercise? Lifting fairly heavy weights will burn a ton of calories :)

I dont use weights coz if a shoulder problem
But I do lots if resistance exercises .. Like the 49 day shred with out the weights .... Is there any benefit from that ..???

Any strength will be beneificial. Heavier weights equal more calories, more fat burn and more muscle gain which will help your metabolism but resitance is strength etc so yeah, that's good :) Doing squats and other exercises like that is good.

I'm glad to hear that as when I'm at the gym I keep pushing my limits on the weight lifting machines I use.

I'm going to do all three levels if the 30 day shred in a min :)
I can do the first two levels no probs .. But level 3 is a but too hard lol
The exercise class I do is called bodytune which is much the same as the 30 day shred ... And I do that for 55 mins ..!! When I put my heart and soul into it I can't walk the next day lol x

Only managed level 3 abd level 2 .... Bugger the sweat was dripping lol ... And my heating was broken down ..!!!!

Grats! Just did a load of housework. Upstairs to eat my late breakfast and chill out before going back stairs to finish a few bits up and do my strength training!
 
Well after being unsure about eating 1500 calories ive lost 5lb in the last two weeks so think il stick to that until I plateau and then reduce. I must admit I'm starting to really like calorie counting compared to other diets x
