My Blue Jeans Dukan Mission...

Day 31 PP

just woke up, glorious September weather, and 6 days off work to look forward to, and a Monday weigh day to work towards....starving now so porridge for me....doing loads of cooking in next few days, bread, curry & mug chocolate cakes :) massive food shop on the cards so it's porridge & tin of tuna today until then

Thin days, fat days.....,

I'm fat, I'm thin, I'm fat, I'm thin, I'm fat, I'm thin....

I don't know if anyone else is like this, but it's driving me crazy....cos I've lost 10lbs now, over the last week I'm having days where I look really slim and I'm really noticing the difference...then literally the very next day I catch sight of all or part of my body and am shocked how fat I look!!! I think I can't believe my mind has tricked me thinking I look thin yesterday, because I look huge today!!!

even worse than that, is that in the last 2 days it happening hourly!!!! I was sitting in a meeting last night one leg crossed over the other, glanced down at my legs and thought...omg my legs are looking slim :) (my legs have always been my problem area) so I was just staring at my left leg in amazement and happiness.....ummmmm fast forward 3 hours when I got home, took a look in my full length mirror at my new slim legs and omg....someone has changed my legs!!! Without me noticing!!! These are not the same slim legs I was looking at 3 hours ago!!!! They are revolting!!! They are massive!!! How did that happen???

sorry if I sound vain or self-absorbed, but I think we all are when we are full on focused dieting in some way...

Hehehe! I can totally relate - we live in a crazy world of imagery and have been taught to over-analyse ourselves physically way too much. I once read an article interviewing Cheryl Cole (not proudly, and no, I never thought I would quote Cheryl Cole), asking about her favourite jeans and she said she had some teeny tiny branded ones which she loved, but she has some bigger pairs for her "fat days". That's right, allegedly Cheryl Cole has fat days.

Try to remember that it's just psycological. A bad weigh in, an un-fattering photo or a poorly angled mirror can cause it, but the truth is, you are rocking this and doing great. It's all in your head. You are losing weight, and you will reach your goals.

On Fat days, or Fat half-days, or just fat moments, take a minute to recount all the progress you have made so far, not just the weight lost, but the clothes that fit or feel looser, the increased energy, and everyday tasks that are now easier (for me it's shaving my legs in the shower and no chubrub on skirt days :) ). Put on some nice perfume, and give yourself some credit!

Totally rubbish day for following reasons...

1. There was no food in the house
2. I had not planned any food
3. Eating 4 slices of ham and porridge from hours of 12pm til 10pm not good
4. Felt like crap cos didn't eat enough
5. No walk as didn't come back from Aldis & sainsburys til 9pm

Tomorrow is going to be fabulous for the following reasons..

1. I'm going to plan, plan, plan
2. I'm going to cook, cook, cook
3. I'm going to Zumba
4. I'm going to walk the dog
5. I'm not going to be in work (because technically I was in work at 2 this morning so I worked today)

Day 32 PV

great dukan bake off occurring in my kitchen today, so I'm off to make bread, beef curry and chilli batches

breakfast - sausages
lunch - ham and tomato sandwich
dinner - beef curry with cauliflower rice

Productive day....made 2 chocolate sponges, dukan bread & the best curry I've ever made :) oh and parsnip crisps! However the only downside is that my stomach hurts it's so full!!! Went to Zumba, drunk loads of water, yep good day all round...you can tell it's a PV day....

4 sausages
ham and tomato sandwich
carrot sticks
beef curry & cauliflower rice
parsnip crisps
coke zero
2 sugar free werthers
2 ltrs water

ok, my skin is feeling lovely and soft the last 3 days and clearer, which is what happened last time so yay...positive things happening...I came back from Zumba & the OH looked at me & said you're body shape has completely changed :) to which I replied, how much wine have you had? I really must get better at this compliment malarkey.

Day 33 PP

Morning all,

May make cheeseburgers later to make my PP day a bit more exciting, so for now it's 2 slices of chocolate sponge and a ham omelette for lunch...

walk today day & doing my first ever body pump class tomorrow morning....have a good day dukaners!!

aww thank you...i haven't put a foot wrong since I went wild down the caravan....but it's weird because I'm not craving anything...but now I've said that I will probably fall spectacularly off the wagon :0

omg...my hamster Horace!! Ok my daughters hamster, Ha ha....yep he's benefitting from my new found energy :)
i even moved the lawn today & I only did it last week!! A first for me...

ha ha...he deserves a big kiss actually cos I'm eat sleep breathing dukan ATM, as soon as I mention anything to do with food exercise, he does this fake snoring :) but he loves it because I'm so much happier :) as well as having a slimmer wife, but he would never admit that!! He's one of those that says I love you whatever size you are...which is great, but even greater when I'm slim :0

Day 33 PP

I did my walk...woop woop...I worked on anticipating my hunger/light headed ness, and even forced a slice of ham down before I mowed the lawn even though I didn't fancy it....

B - choc sponge
L - 2 egg ham omelette
S - 1 slice of ham
D - 4 cheese burgers!! Please don't judge me :) Using my dukan bread, 2 babybel lights & dukan burgers
S - choc sponge

1.5 water, tea, 2 werthers

Ha ha...it's tomorrow!! I'll let you know if I survive! Have you done it before? My pump obsessed friend from work is taking me under her wing :) xxx
Good luck! Yes, I've been a huge pump fan for years, but I don't belong to a gym anymore. So many great outdoor activities to do that I can't really justify the expense (although last year I signed up for a 3 month membership over the winter). So I really miss my pump, and I think I'm getting enough cardio, but I have to say, I think it's much easier to keep the weight in control when you're doing more strength exercises. There's no way I would buy a set of weights for home use, but I'm thinking of getting a resistance band to do the CX workouts. But come winter, I think I'll be back on my twice weekly pump sessions at the gym!
