    My WeMITTs

Often, you lose a lot very quickly and then it slows down somewhat as your body evens out. The sudden drop is often water weight, or maybe you caught yourself at a particularly good point during your natural daily weight fluctuation. But 5.5lb in a week is fantastic, regardless of where it came...

arghh! Can't stop wanting my snacks!

Why not switch to calorie counting? A calorie deficit is a calorie deficit at the end of the day, regardless of what plan you follow. If you enjoy certain foods that aren't really permissible on SW then you're going to end up feeling deprived.

1200 is usually the *minimum* they recommend you eat, so you might find that eating more helps you because you'll have calories spare to snack on healthy things, or bulk out your meals so you feel fuller. Have you tried MyFitnessPal? It'll give you a good guide for your calorie allowance, and...

    Atkins ready meals?

Does anything like this exist? Not necessarily the Atkins brand, but something Atkins-friendly? I know the point is to move away from processed foods, but I find it so much easier to stick to calories, or in this case carbs, with pre-prepared stuff.

    Meal ideas?

I kinda decided to stick with calorie counting for now, just because I literally couldn't think of ANYTHING Atkins-y to buy, other than eggs or chicken. Chicken legs & thighs are my fave, but where as I would normally eat them with baked sweet potato or rice or something, I couldn't come up...

BMR is your basal metabolic rate. It's what your body burns by functioning to keep you alive. You shouldn't eat under your BMR. 1200 is too low for most people. Yes, you'll lose quickly, but quick weight loss is rarely sustainable. The MFP calorie allowance takes into consideration your...

Induction Body fat increasing each week

There's only a couple of ways to accurately measure body fat, and it's not by using a set of scales, no matter how fancy. If you're losing weight, slimming down and eating a healthy diet, your body isn't going to start sacrificing muscle instead of fat.

    Milk

I rarely drink milk except for a splash in tea or coffee once every few days, so I've never bothered to work out the points. But I've just put 200ml of semi skimmed over some muesli for breakfast tomorrow, and I think I've worked it out as 3PP. Is that right?

Hello - I've been here before

You should write down your motivation for losing weight and stick it on your fridge door, desk at work, write it down on your phone, etc. so that way, wherever you are and whatever you're doing, you have a little reminder that the moments where it's difficult are all for a really awesome reason.
