Hi. I am starting CD today. I did it back in 2009 and lost 4s. Now I am back wanting to loose the same by mid November! I am on 810kcal as I have a high BMI. Will I make it? I have 12s to loose all in all but I have smaller goals....

EVERY year I settle down on a Saturday night with a glass of wine and the X factor live shows.... ( I am a stickler for tradition!)

I have STS - not sure I am going to be productive this week as I have all symptoms that I am due on and I am a bugger for water retention so I am not going to be an accurate measure on this experiment.... but still will keep up with the water intake...

ok so day 2 of the experiement and I have not weighed in as I stayed at my dads last night which is 100 miles away from my scales at home but i did get through my 4L of water - I have my WI at lunch today so we will see...

For me it was the realisation that my winter coat will now be too big - in the Feb snow the top 2 buttons where somewhat tense and on Friday night something clicked and i went to try it on - now the coat looks awful and hangs off me... 20 sweaty minutes later of me swanning round with it on gave...

I went to Florida for 10 days and have been back for 3 weeks and I gained 8lb - this came off within 5 days and by the time I went to my CDC i had lost a further 3lb.
I didn't let it upset me - I knew I would gain - I chose SO VERY badly!!
I struggled to get back on the wagon - I found finding...
I am over the moon at 2lb as I have had a cold and had to have medication, cough mixture etc...

I always thought it was SS or SS+ for a MAX of 12 weeks then 810 onwards then nearer goal you start moving up plans... or is it 12 weeks on SS the 1 week at 810 and back to SS??

I plan to take lots of passport photo's (lol) and use them for a long time - passport, drivers license etc... they are all due for renewal in the next few years... (the weight WILL still be off but i will be few years older by then!)

I have been on SS+ for 8 weeks now and will be on WI No. 9 tomorrow..
The thing is that I go away in 8 days to the states (the food!!!!) so my CDC suggested I move to 1200kcals for my holiday with a week at 810 before hand (so that will start this Friday)...
Now I think i should be excited...

I would say dont go weighing yourself at boots - stick to the same scales week after week - my councillor refuses to move her scales and they are in the exact same position every week - this is so the reading can not be faulted!!

I am on SS+ - I needed that teeny bit of chicken to look forward too at the end of a day... I have so much to loose that the extra calories are not really affecting me...

I have another 9 to loose and I don't feel it yet - think it will take me to go down a dress size before I start to feel it hopefully that will be after the next stone!
My CDC told me that lots of water helps after a blip and gets you back into ketosis faster (not that I blipped but was discussing on the 'just in case') not sure if its speeds up weight loss but it does help the skin catch up.
OH MY GOD!!!!! Redbush is ok???? are you sure- I am crazy about the stuff and though it wasn't allowed - been living off black coffee and peppermint tea!!!!!!

I thought that - I am on SS+ and the amount of veg v the amount of chicken (and even more fish) on you plate is crazy!!
Not that i am complaining - i love having a small meal!
I did ss fr my first week and lost 9lb... I moved to SS+ for the 2nd week and lost 5lb - now that I was very happy with and i get a small meal (so far in 3 days another 2lb has come off) I don't see that as slowing down on weight loss...
Its what you feel comfortable with and what fits in with...
had my 2nd weigh in this afternoon -5lb so thats exactly 1s in 2 weeks - I am over the moon and is just the motivation I needed for the weekend!!

I'm on day 18 too and have my 2nd weigh in tomorrow had my first blip this evening and I am kicking myself - That is it no more 'blips' only the planned ones i.e Big Wedding next month and work dinner that I will have to figure out a way to get through and pray that my body stays in or gets back...
When I was younger I used to eat when my parents went out but I would never finish anything thinking they wouldn't notice.... then when I moved out I used to finish work before my partner and come home and eat crisps, sandwiches, cheese and just about anything I fancied and hide the wrappers in...

I went to Alton Towers 5 years ago and it look 2 burly men to push me in... I then went on to loose 5 1/2 stone but its gone back on and now my bf wishes to go there and I am too scared!

I fill from the filtered water jug into a 2L bottle every night for the next day at work and I have to finish that plus 1pt glass with dinner and I am done easy! anything extra is a bonus!!
I bought a packet of cod from the supermarket and where usually i would have cooked it up with veg or chips and god knows what else and ate the lot now i walked to the checkout thinking this is more than enough for 4 meals!!!

I believe that is the reason too, you are allowed tuna drained from water...
I love cod and tuna - I think SS+ is going to be better for me... I can live with and extra 61 calories a day as I am in it for the long haul...
I will wait until tomorrow then... I want to move over to the SS+

Ideally I would want 2 and a meal on the SS+ standards... but the SS+ states 3 and a meal!!
