I would adopt the same tactics but i'm a terrible fake tanner, if i don't look after my skin i have a tendency toward eczema so i'm happy to embrace my whiteness. Of course at home (Cali) it was never a problem i could get a nice safe natural tan, however in the UK it isn't quite manageable lol.
