Aw thanks. What do I need to post again?

I am in oz and I have something really similar to bachelors pasta and sauce. There's about 500 calories per pack. If I don't make it up with butter and milk do you reckon ill be safe to substitute it?

How many syns would roughly be in a fairly big homemade Yorkshire pud? Made with flour, egg, milk and oil? Someone made me tea and homemade puds. :(

In the book it says if you feel 15 syns isn't enough you can speak to your consultant and up your syn allowance. I'm wondering if anyone have done this and if it decreased their weight loss? I'm fine with 15 bit I am just interested to see if anyone has taken more?

I'd say a 25g bag has 2/3 handfuls. But I have small hands lol! I'd count it around 3.5 to make sure.

You should try and measure your waist, hips and arms with a tape measure. You'll probably find you're losing inches just not weight!! Which is definately better on the eyes!!! ;) x

Fry onions, garlic, mushrooms and bacon in a frying pan. Boil spaghetti. Once cooked add ingredients together, then take off heat, add an egg, Parmesan and some low fat fromage frais and mix until turns into a smooth sauce. Then add a bit Parmesan. It is deeeelicious. Almost like the real thing :) x

Yeh I liked them. Although I think I'd prefer the cheddar ones. The normal ones were a bit tasteless. I also fried the onions first before mixing with the mince as I hate raw onion! Lol. Usually with sw recipes, you need to alter them a bit :) defo trying the kebab tho!!! X

Hey, our consultant told us about these chips and oh my god they are fantastic. Don't know if you know about them.. You cut chunky chips, par boil, cover in egg, cover in smash potato, onion salt and any herbs you like. Fry light. Oven 220. Amaaaazzziiinnngggg!!!!

Sounds like your over cooking them. Or slicing too thinly. If you're using a fan assisted oven, only heat to 200* Make sure they are covered in the oil and salt! X

My surgery doesn't offer them. Just call your dr office and the staff should be able to tell you. I think you have to have a pretty high bmi and possibly be on benefits.

No, you're right. You only have to syn it if you ground it down and use as flour as you can consume an excessive amount this way, whereas you wouldn't sit and eat 5 bowls of it normally. Lol. It is a great diet and most recipes can be edited into a sw friendly version! Good luck x

You can if you like but you don't have to. You can eat what you like as long as there if your 1/3 of superfree but your plate nearly consumes superfree so you're fine! As long as you're full then that's a perfect brekki x
