Another walk, brisker pace today and did 5.5km. Stopped midway to buy face cream and cake...only in Paris does a shop specialise in both

I do two sessions most days @ 35 minutes, 92-100 rpm, 36-40 kph & 120-130 bpm.

Quotes didn't work properly, I was asking how donyou fit two sessions into a work day....I would need to rest and shower
 
Generally a session first thing most days then a shower.
Then a later one and another quick shower.
But on occasion I can do a session then repeat a couple of hours later then a shower.
I work it around the days I'm working and the other things etc.

Every single session is 35 Minutes and an average of 21-22 km.
Therefore most days it's 70 Minutes and combined 43-44km.
I aim for six days a week but it's not always possible.
 
Sorry, wasn't suggesting you didn't shower...what I meant was I found it hard to fit exercise in around work...two sessions would have been hard.
 
No offence taken regarding showers.
It's easier as I have the exercise bike at home to fit sessions in.
I don't need to travel to gym's etc

A short but proper walk today. 3km with the dog at a nice 5.6km pace. Feel good

Another 3km walk, today was a brisk walk around town with baby and buggy while daughter was busy

A brisk 3.5km walk with the dog, 5.8kph. Its very windy out but I had lots of hills today

5km walk around the town today as part of Operation Transformation TV programme, about 500 people turned up. I had the buggy and was walking in a crowd but still managed 5.2km kph...tired now.

That's me through the 5,000 km barrier since August 11th 2017 on the exercise bike.

Challenge: 10000steps and ten minutes brisk every day.

I have kept this up so far and used it as a minimum. There have been times where I had to force myself to make sure I completed it when I was late home from work etc.

It has become an exercise in self control.
 
It certainly takes some discipline and determination.
But like everyone else involved in each individual challenge every little milestone achieved makes it easier.

That's the whole point of the challenge...motivating yourself
 
The weather forecast for next week is not helpful, so if someone could just sort that out, I would be jolly grateful.

I would like to give this challenge a go as I am feeling optimistic.

I am completely unfit and out of puff. I have started walking and hoping to do 30 minutes every day...If I can achieve this for January I will be very pleased with myself.

Sunday 14th January

So far I have missed going out for a walk four days out of fourteen!

I didn't go out yesterday but have walked every other day this week.
