I have a pretty jar I've made that I put a £1 for every lb lost.... it has £41 in it and I love seeing it getting fuller. also have a plaque on my wall that I write how many pounds I've lost. I love changing it each week. although if I've put on I leave it as it was :)

slimming world does work if you trust it, I lost 3.5 stone last year although stopped in sept and put 13.5lb on :(
don't forget to have yr syns, I tend to allow myself 10 a day or id go crazy after a few weeks

Yea it took me a while to get my head sorted. I've just had a terrible 3 wks, children off school and I was off work so all routine went out the window! Back on it now tho, the best thing at this lifestyle change other than buying nice clothes in 'normal shops' is the compliments you get off...

I would put it down to a bad day and start a fresh today, you could cut back on syns for the rest of the week but still have some syns daily. We all do it, dnt best yrself up abt it. Just make today a good day

Why is it that after I've eaten I crave something sweet!! I've just had a massive bowl of mince super free veg and rice I'm totally stuffed but craving something sweet! A yogurt just wouldn't do it, plus I'm totally full so dnt need to eat anything else!

It really depends how well you stick to plan and how much you have to loose, some ppl loose weigh quickly others not so quick, I've lost 3 stone in 26 wks. I'm plsed but others have been going the same time as me and have lost lots more x
I struggle with lunch really bad, most of the time I know what I'm having for dinner but never have a clue ant lunch... Today I had bacon (fat removed) mushrooms b/beans and poached egg. With a peach to follow, was yummy x

hey, im on my 3rd week of sw, have done well so far but for the last 3 days have been stuggling to get on plan 100%. i write a food diary and it really does help you to stay focused. funnily enough for the past 3 days i havent done one...maybe thats why im finding it hard??

Not sure 11. I've also been losing fine. But due to the stupid hrs my husband works we sometimes don't eat till 8-9 ish then last nyt after swimming I had a muller light banana and mergiune nest. Then thought oh. Maybe it's to late. But I was starving lol

I was just wondering how long it takes people to notice that you've lost weight? I know the more you lose the longer it will take. My friend told me that you drop a dress size when you drop a stone. Not sure i believe her!

I've just had my father in law for dinner, he lost his wife at the start of last year so we have him most Sundays, I always try and cook a good meal for him and get puddings in as I worry he doesn't eat properly, so my fil, hubby and children sat and ate cake and cream while I had a muller light...

Like the other ladies I don't worry about my portion sizes but I do try to eat my super free first . This is my second week, I lost 11.5lb in my first week so it defiantly does work, like the others said just trust the plan! Lots of luck x
