DD is coming to pick up my laptop soon to take to work tonight so I won't be able to update further.

The plan is to have some mango & vlf fromage frais - I hope there's nothing more than that! ;) xx

Breakie - 2 weetabix etc

Lunch - Tin Heinz 'Big' soup - chicken & veg

1/2" square of wensleydale & cranberry cheese

Tea - Homemade lentil & carrot soup, baked chicken breast with brocolli & leek & 1/2 tin of ratatouille.

Stuffed - have eaten too much :eek:

Gonna have to stop reading your maintenance diary Jan, its making me hungry!!

Going to be taking some tips from you when I finally feel done with TFR!
 
I absolutely agree with Joy, on the whole, you are doing really really great Jan.

I am sure we all have shares in Vodka at the moment, reading all our diaries, that friend of ours, Mr Vodka, seems to be pretty darned regular. I am working again tonight, so no vodka for me.....lol.

Back to work for me tomorrow too so no alcohol till saturday .... I only have my Mother's to contend with .... ***sigh*** .... I've been there today and been fine .... it's a 'habit' thing when I'm working .... :( xx
 
It definitely is a habit, and the least thing seems to trigger it off.

I will have a vodka for you tomorrow night when I have no work.

Unfortunately I grabbed a piece of pumpkin seed bread, spread it with phili light and put 2 slices of ham on it before I went to bed last night. I didn't need it I just wanted it ... :eek: I'm never gonna shift these few lbs!! ..... Still, looking on the bright side - at least I remembered eating it ;) x

Wed 24th Feb

Got up very late with starting work tonight so didn't have any breakie

Lunch - the rest of the soup I made yesterday with a slice of pumpkin seed bread, toasted. Some fruit with vlf from frais

3 plums altogether through the day
Slice of ham
teaspoon houmous

Tea - Salmon florentine with cabbage & leek mix. A kiwi with vlf from frais

Have brought to work - a tin of sainsbury's cheese & bacon pasta, a tub of pickles & gherkins and an 'eat natural' kid's lunchie.

I won't be staying long at my mother's in the morning, I need to get home to bed as I have to get up early for a hosp app. Hopefully this will stop me picking there. I'm just a little concerned about eating when I get up and then later having tea - it's like having an extra meal but I can't go out without anything. I'm thinking maybe I'll try not to have my breakie when I get in in the morning but I'm not sure if I'll manage that! xx

Edit to add - Thick slice of white bread & clover lighter :(

Ah Yes but the lighter version Tan ... :) nothing to write home about imo.

Well this morning I was annoyed with myself as I had a big toblerone cookie at my mother's :mad: ....... HOWEVER! I didn't have anything when I got home - unheard of for me I went straight to bed, and I didn't have anything when I got up before going to hosp app. Pleasingly I didn't feel like anything :)

For tea I made a moroccan spiced stewey thing with turkey thigh pieces, onion, leek, carrots, passata and cubed sweet potatoes. It was very nice if I do say so myself. Then a pear.

I've brought the rest of that, a pear, a plum and a boots shapers snack bar to work.

So all in all it could have been worse :) xx

Edit - ah - and then there were the 4 squares of wholenut I had at 4am :( x

Had 2 pringles at my mothers
Breakie - Crust off sesame & pumpkin seed loaf toasted with a VERY small banana on it.

Tea - Pouch of Thai green fragrant curry on bed of rocket, pear.

At mother's tonight 1/2 a kellogs 'square' chocolate caramel bar (75cals)

Have brought to work a John West salmon light lunch, a pear, a plum and an 'eat natural' kids lunchie bar.

Going to set up a new thread to start using on Monday - this one's getting too long. Need to change my signature too. I have to alter it each time I add to it now it's so long! xx

Sat 27th Feb

Had the crust off a malted wheatgerm loaf toasted with clover & phili light at Mum's - 2 reasons, 1/As I left work I felt that horrible shakey feeling coming on so I would have had it for that but 2/I was going shopping as well so wasn't risking passing out :eek:

Thought I wouldn't have anything when I got in because of that ... HA! However I DID only have 1 weetabix instead of 2 with blueberies etc.

Bed all day

Tea - Chicken & chick pea tagine with lemon & coriander cous cous.

Wine :) xx
 
loved seeing your maintaining weight like that Jan, you know that's pretty damn good, cos maintaining can be so hard, to get right. After all we have to live, and have some comforts, its just geeting the balance right which it looks like you have.
 
Thanks Joy ..... I must say though - I don't FEEL as though I've got the balance right. It feels like going off the rails and then trying to compensate for it. I don't like describing things as a struggle - but it ain't easy! You know that yourself. I just wish it came more naturally and easily .... ah well!!, we're getting there I suppose xx
