It's a gradual process so therefore have to build up gently to reach our eventual goal.
It does not matter whether it takes two months or years.
The important thing is to reach your target.

The last couple of weeks I have had few more days of with less exercise.
Last week single session Wed, No session on Fri or Sun
Still completed a distance of 200 km over the week.
Weight still stable.

I know we are halfway through the month but can I join in?

I use Run keeper to track my running, walking and the odd bike ride. So far this month I have tracked 23.4 miles so my challenge to myself is to hit 50 miles by the end of the month.
 
Of course you can @Ponytales. The point is to set yourself a target and try to.reach it.

I didn't get out again today but have been on the go the whole time doing housework

Blimey CG. I don't know how you have the time to fit it in! I thought I was fairly active until I saw how much you are doing.

I do have various gym equipment at home (treadmill, turbo trainer/bike, kettle bells etc) but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as getting out in the fresh air and I'm much less inclined to do it.

Anyway, just went out for a run with the big dog in the pitch black. Didn't go far as I forgot my head torch! 1.3 miles + 23.4 = 24.7/50

It's only essentially an 1 hr per day most weeks.
As 6 days at 70 mins is 7 hrs a week.
But everyone's situation is different and it's not always possible to spend as much time as I do over the week.

Challenge: to exercise 20 times in January
9 done 11 to go

Was in Limerick today and walked 2km going in and out of city centre.
Then came home andcwalked 2.5km in wellies just as it started to snow.
 
I got all cocky and increased it to twenty minutes brisk walking and 12000 steps per day. I have managed it, but I am very wary of rain at lunchtime and first thing putting a kibosh on my plans. (I'm not a delicate little flower, but dripping wet hair and clothes in the showroom is not the best).

I am now banking steps and brisk minutes when I can for the great British weather. Does anyone else do that?

I am now banking steps and brisk minutes when I can for the great British weather. Does anyone else do that?

I tend to go out in all weathers unless it's icy, bug I go after work so don't have the same issues.
