jelly beans are unnnnnnnnnf my favourite thing in the world. them and skittles.
They're also incredibly high in cals :(
If you like snickers - what about the snickers icecream bars? The little treat size ones are like 75 cals each x
Thank you lovely ;)
Well done on avoiding the breakfast bap order - bacon is massively my weakness :o it's hard to say no to!
I agree with the above about water - it really does fill you up. And perhaps maybe take in a low cal chocolate bar (2 finger kitkat? slimfast snack bar?) every so often...
Thinking about it, it makes sense to not think "I can only have such and such." and more "I can have whatever I want... I just need to make good decisions." (ie - lower calorie/healthier options.)
Hope you're ok love xxx
My mum always says that, Tracy :P (are you really seeeeecretly my mum? Have my parents lied to me? :O :P)
You have nothing to feel bad about lovely. Like the posters above, everyone has their own personal demons and together we're all working through them x
Thank you so much my darlings :D I'm hoping to make it the full 6stone (hopefully more!) by the time I make it a full year of dieting :) 2 full months left exactly today!
Hope you're all doing well! xx
Glad you sound more upbeat lovely :) Tracy has it perfectly - and that's why she is our Queen! :) You need to allow yourself time to get used to things. It's when things become a habit and second nature that is when you've cracked it - and it does take time!
Dishwashers are awesome aren't they ;)
I've found the dishwasher I want - all being well it shall be here next week (a white knight 12 place one :D) Before it comes though (given that we don't have a fitting for it) we're also getting a cooker because the ignition on ours is dodgy and it's...
"And a bit tart" I read as "And a big tart" And I agreed ;) And I still do :D :P
Well done on your loss gorgeous, you are AWESOME :D and we can chalk the interview down as experience :D I love your willpower and motivation right now :D :D
You are totally rocking this gorgeous :D

I haven't seen Weighing Up The Enemy, I've just had a search for it on sky though and managed to get the older eps off on demand. (Seriously - how did we survive pre-sky plus and its counterparts?!!)
guuuh i love pizza <3 I haven't made one in...
5 and a half so far ;) But I'm hoping this last week in January to get closer to the 6 again and the pre-Xmas weight. I genuinley cannot WAIT until I'm back to 20st 13lb and all loss is new :D Exciting times! :)
Found a shop that's going to be quite dangerous to pass :D There's a branch in...
Swimming and walking is great for people like us :) It's low intensity and swimming especially supports the joints.
Well done on taking your first step and congratulations on your wedding coming up :) Well done on your loss so far too! Here's to many more!
Awww bless you :) There's only really me and mum (and the brother and sister in law may put in a visit) and the Best Friend who's in Leeds and I can't get to see her as much as I'd like to because of mum and she can't come over at the minute cos she's so poorly herself :( I always make much more...
The pittas are v filling, I expected not to be too keen on them because of the bits in them but I really enjoyed them :) They were easy to open too and toast, just gently slid a knfe through the middle and they popped right open.
The little mission deli wraps aren't as big as usual wraps but...
My town isn't too bad at all, we live by the sea and it's gorgeous just walking to the beach. To walk from here to the beach is 45 mins - not time at all! :) I'd like to live a little more city like sometimes - but like you I don't like the people or busy places!
Birthday is Sunday :) (Not...
Good luck for the weigh in and for the presentation :)
I don't make any special effort for exercising. I said last year I was going to go to the gym down the road (well, community center with a gym in it) and I even bought joggers to go... but I'm still not there.
I DO make more effort with my...
It's like a whole other world hearing those house prices, when my parents bought this house in 1996 it was 32K. According to Zoopla and the price next door sold for about 5 years ago it's worth about 83K now. Come move to Grimsby ;)
Have a wonderful birthday sooooon almost-birthday-twin ;) :D
Nothing planned at all (well, ideas. no actual plans.) I don't actually like birthdays, it's weird. I'm alright with other peoples, it's just mine :) I'd like to go to the cinema and see Colin Firth being all James Bondy at some point:o and I'd like to go and have a day out shopping out of town...
Good luck hun :) I'd love to be a "normal" size too but given my chest I don't think I'll get down to a small size, whatever I lose.
How are you planning on doing it hun? :) xx
Awww hun, can you see a doctor to see if he'll give you anything to help with the pain? :( Or if he can check it and see if there's anything else he can do?
Crossing fingers, hands, wrists, eyes, arms, toes, feet and legs! :D xxx
Thanks loves - hopefully it's finished. I can't say for definite cos the past 3/4 have finished one day - then been back the next!
Hope you're all well and not suffering x
Look at you getting all motivated and domesticated ;) :D Hope the ice cream maker works out hun! :)
Hope your knees are feeling better too and good luck for the job interview too :D xx
I love lazing in onesies, far too much ;) You definitely deserve it after almost 4 miles - ouch!
Your dinner looks gorgeous, I love Hunters Chicken! Will lok up the recipie for the SW one :D
Well done hun x
As proven by our wonderful Queenie Tracy, you don't have to do exercise to still lose weight so don't beat yourself up about it :) Yes it helps - and it DEFINITELY helps with maintenance but it is possible.
I do (on a personal opinion) think it's a good idea for you to do some sort of...
Thank you lovely :)
Just had a bag of the Good And Counted snacking popcorn from Asda to fill the little hungry worm until tea time. The sweet/salty one was gooooooooorgeous! The black pepper/salt one yesterday was foul. Both only about 71 cals.
There's definitely something... speshul... about you, Stacey :P
You definitely need to rest your knees lovely, we don't want anything happening to you!! Be careful! :)
Still haven't tried fishy!pasta (ended up having a treat meal last night (buns from the posh bunshop. Yuuuuuum! (and that's a...
Hope the WI wasn't horrendous hun, keeping fingers crossed for a loss, for you to feel better and that TOTM has gone away!!
The car thing was def not an overreaction! People are horrible and would think nothing of jumping in and driving off!
I love chorizo too! We only just started having it...
I am dancing like that, Stacey ;) I can't WAAAIT. We've gotta hang on a couple of weeks though whilst I have a kitchen blitz and bleach and have a plan of things because we've never had one before (which means we have no fittings etc for it) so I need to replot where the fridge et al shall go so...
Yaaaaaaaaay for the losses too and the inch losses - you are snodgrassing and amazing! ;) :D xx
Killing stuff in video games is a GREAT way to not only get the same satisfaction that comfort eating will do (without the guilt) but also to make yourself feel better imo. Call of duty is my go to...
I use the mini deli ones, they're about 95 cals a piece and are v filling :) I think they're made by mission? (they are much smaller than usual tho)
The food doctor seeded pittas are lovely if anyone fancies a pitta too. 130cals each for quite a sizeable pitta.
Glad your fakeaway went well...
That is still an amazing loss lovely - well done! :) You are definitely on the right track and will be through the 25's before you know it!
Thinking of you xxx
The bust decreasing is easier than I thought it would be :D My boobs were only 3 inches smaller than I am tall (and I'm 5ft 9!) and now they're a further 13 inches down :D in about 9 months. You can do it!! :)
Claire is right, 1lb is still massive!!
Welcome hun! PLEASE don't worry about visiting your doctor/nurse/pharmacy. They're there to help you and losing weight would be one of THE most important things that you can do for your body. They won't judge you! They've seen people much much bigger...
I agree with Moo. Draw a line and mean it and keep moving forward. Looking back does nothing - it only makes you feel depressed and like you've failed when you haven't!. Failure would be giving up and just putting it all back on and more.
Transexamic acid, naproxen, painkillers and a warm bath coupled with a hot water bottle afterwards for me :)
Having an horrendous totm this time, stupidly heavy and blaaaah again. For the first time though I appear to have lost weight whilst on so I'm not complaining too much!!
Well done all :) FMO1 I've added your loss in too, hope that's okay.
1) Hershey - 140lbs to lose - 17.6lbs lost - 122.4lbs to go
2) Another Tracy -79lbs to lose - 4lbs lost - 75lbs to go
3) CaroleM - 140lbs to lose - 24lbs lost - 116lbs to go
4) Bigbear - 126lbsto go - 4lbs lost - 122lbs to...
Fingers crossed hun :)
Snowy, you can be as slim as an ant but if you're poorly it's not any good :( We want you better hun! Don't blame yourself for any gains - you can't help it with that medication! All you can do is keep eating properly and hopefully as you get better all the goodness...
Thank you all :D Moo, you are so right - I was smiling all day yesterday, not least when the back pay came in at half 10 (!) and I got to pay off all the bills with it - we are officially debt free! (not that there was a lot to start with, but it not being there is an AMAZING feeling!) And we're...
The visible loss is almost more important than the numbers because it means you can SEE it and it definitely IS coming off :D
Really hope you get some proper rest lovely :( And that you feel better soon. I think with the bloating and the probably inflamation of your bladder that it's unlikely...
:8855::8855::8855::8855::8855::8855::8855::8855::8855:
"Um... Hi. I er.. have a bit of a problem..... "
"... why do you sound muffled?"
What a hell of a convo that'd be ;)
Bless you lovely, I agree (especially as my boobs were only an inch or two smaller than I am tall when I started (and I'm tall!!)) but the motivation of seeing those numbers come down (and they have! I've lost approx 11 inches from my chest alone!) is a great boost :) xx
Thank you my darlings, hope you're all well :) Been chasing my tail a bit these past few days so haven't been online a lot - but all is getting better :) BF is feeling a bit better and bloody glad to be home. She's still feeling like sh*t and gets smacked off her tits thanks to her painkillers...
Hope today hasn't been so long lovely!
Running still seems an alien concept (not least because of La Boobettes!!) Haven't run since I was 16 (aside from a short run when one of the dogs get out. Don't do it voluntarily ;) )
Well done love :D Not only for the loss but the exercise too AND for keeping going even though it's stiff and sore! :)
Good luck for your challenge too ;) You can do it!!!
Huge difference on the pictures love, congratulations and well done! :)
Hope you feel better soon :( My best friend was hospitalised with a severe kidney infection last week and has been signed off for at least 2 weeks and told that it'll take her probably even longer to feel 100% again so I...
It's not weight that you're putting on overnight, it's natural body fluctuations. You have to be consistant for a period of time for there to be losses, as when you do extra movement (the dancing etc) the body fills with fluid for protection, or theres water retention from the pizza etc too. (as...
I think its meant to be 15 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that you're full - but like most of us that 15 mins is too big where we can shove more in! Hope you feel better soon love xx
he's really cracking on isn't he! :)
I think I'm glad we don't have a frankie and bennys. My friend goes all the time (leeds branch) and it sounds amazing! Too tempting!!
Thank you loves :) The crap continues on, my best friend has been in hospital for the past couple of days (discharged a few hours ago) with a severe kidney infection.
Staying up beat though. Have done quite a bit of early xmas shopping for this year today for not very much, bought some more...
What a lovely boost! :) Hope you're home and tucked away from the cold now!
HAve taken your advice and bought some slim noodles etcetc (those that are 8odd calories per portion) to give them a go. You can't beat such low calories! :) x
It really does work well doesn't it :) I do that too - banging my head on the pillow as many times as I want (ie -7 times for 7am) as was told to me - look a bit daft but it works ;)
So glad that she's helping :) Hope the tablets help :)
I had a mirena coil. I didn't feel any problems with it going in - and didn't use any anesthetic/numbing stuff etc despite scary sounding clamps being used - but the moods it left me with? Cooooor! So angry over everything!
Like Susie says - if it doesn't help you - don't weigh! It's all up to how you're feeling. Maybe even do it once a month to keep you in guidelines if you need it x
Thank you love :) It feels like 5 minutes ago that I started (though when I started each day felt like an absolute age!) but it passes sooner than you know xx
One day is nothing on this journey :) One day you want to throw it in - the next you're raring to go. Just stick with it and come talk to us - we can help :)
Hope today was better for you and your hair is sorted :) xx
Congratulations everyone :) Snowy, we are here for you always :)

One day is nothing on all the others! :) And like one of your friends says, it leaves lots of Syns for other days :) draw a line and keep plodding on gorgeous x
I have a fitbit one too! :) I had a jawbone 24up originally from my brother/sil for Christmas but I was allergic to the metal on the clasp (which is ridiculous as it's a tiny amount!) and so I avoided the flex as that has nickle too. I've had it about 2 1/2 weeks - I love it! :)
Hope you enjoy...
same here, I love my george foreman! Before we were being good, we did naughty panini's in it too :o
It's so quick for cooking chicken breasts et al when the oven would take too long/be a waste warming up.
Those talking about a fitbit - I have a fitbit one too that I adore. Had to go for one...
I've never been on holiday/a plane - I didn't know it was that bad :( *hugs all round!* Here's to not needing them very very soon! :)
Claire - have you tried the Asda version of slimfast? I've only tried the banananannaa one so far and OMGit's gorgeous! IMO it's even tastier than slimfast -...
Thanks lovelies :)
Sadly the hospital visit was one of the worst days with Twat in a long time. He was so angry and snappy with everyone - including the doctors and nurses. He's seemingly back to normal. He had to have eye drops and I was asked to make sure he was okay as they can irritate his...
It could likely be a bit of water gain/retention/totm - don't worry too much lovely - just keep ploughing on.
How are you doing?! Hope the kitchen stuff is sorted soon!
Sounds like you had a great time :D And the courgette dreams too :8855:
my mum loves sweet pots but I'm not taken with them. I'm quite looking forward to trying cauliflower rice though (there's something I never thought i'd write!)
Ta loves - hibernated a bit as I was a bit mardy when I got home.
The work he'd done on the filling I had back in Dec had damaged the nerve in my tooth. I was hoping it was just going to be an option of him removing it and doing it again (thinking he'd done it a bit too close to the nerve) but...
I've watched it but not done it (which seems to defeat the object a bit ;) ) but it is funny :D
Look at you with your new motivation and willpower :D Very happy to see it, lovely. Your seatbelt target is very doable too :)
Haven't heard about the smash pizza - will keep checking to read about...
Welcome gorgeous! :) It's good to keep pushing and going - you achieve more that way! :) You can do it!!! :) We're right behind you.
Hope it clears up for you soon - careful going out with your ankle xx
Welcome lovely, you're in the right place here :)
Are you using calorie counting to lose the weight? There's quite a few of us here doing the same, I've never known anything work as well as this does! :) x
I agree totally :) When poorly you were "Treated" and "looked after" which for pretty much all of us here stemmed down to food :) It manifests in other ways too, when I get headache I sit and rub my head where my mum would - it's funny how you remember things :)
Doesn't help us now though ;)...
That is ridiculous! Sounds like they don't make it clear at all! And are deliberatley misleading! Can you contact them and have a rant? Might make you feel a bit better? :)
The hairy dieters have lots of fans on here :D x
Eeek just seen the time, will be back to continue catching up soon as gotta get back to the dentist for 2pm (whatever he did less than a month ago he didn't do too well and OUCH!) See you soon loves x
Welcome hun! :) You are definitely in the right place :) and not just for the Hairy Dieters love either - we find them incredibly useful and relatable (and lovely!) Asda carries Hairy Dieters pouches of ready made sauce (ie the curries etc) for days where you're short of time or if you want to...
I overdose on Vitamin C when I feel a cold symptom on the horizon - it doesn't completely go but I feel 80% better and feel it ends quicker too. Bags of satsumas, oranges and juice/squash etc and try push it through. (I do love satsumas et al - it's not a chore for me).
Hope you feel better...
I'm with Stacey ;) It'd be spent on extra cheese and more extra cheese (and bacon too if bacon are syns ;) :D)
Would alcohol free wine work for you? It sounds stupid but as someone who doesn't drink overly much, I'm guessing they do make it? :) Would it add to your syns and help out if you ever...
Ouch, hope you're feeling better! The cystitis drinks from Sainsburys/Asda are pretty decent if I say so myself - I had a weak dose and within one drink it'd got rid of it but they were relatively pleasant tasting (as things like that can be) so finished the course (all of three days)
Hope...
Thank you loves :) It went... as well as it could. It wasn't a great meeting, anything that highlights to you how much independence you've lost (for my mum) and how much what I have to do isn't "normal" (for me) is very sobering. But hopefully if she's granted it - the extra financial help can...
She wasn't AS bad (mostly....!) as I thought she'd be. It was interesting, not because of the way she did it/didn't do it - but because she did actually start to see that not everyone is the same and it isn't as easy as she thought.
Thanks love :) It was mostly the end of the alcohol bottles that had been open several years that are great now out (bye bye malibu :( )and the 'naughty' things (ie meals that aren't low calorie meals) that got finished so I'm back to where I should be with only good things :D x
Moo is awesome isn't she :D So confident and supportive too!
Have my fingers crossed tightly for you lovely - try not to sneaky weigh in between now and then to see if you can get even further :D
Good luck lovely :D :D :D Those meals sound GORGEOUS x
Good idea love :) I meant to do that last year but didn't mean to. It's a GREAT way of helping yourself. If nothing else, it helps you get some new clothes when you get down to the desired size ;) x
Welcome lovely! Slim fast is definitely doable - I started my weight loss with it and I think I may even buy a couple of cans of the powder and return to it as it is so convinient and downright easy like you say. If anything I actually found it helped as it took away the immediate 'what am I...
Good luck for next time ladies xx

2) Another Tracy -79lbs to lose - 4lbs lost - 75lbs to go

I always find just plain turning htem over half way through (and giving them a good 10 mins longer than it says ie 40 instead of half hour) always cooks my chips through :) (never got on with oven chips tbh, I prefer making my own (especially as then it is essentially potato and fry light!)
It's hard getting rid of the bigger clothes isn't it. I had a huge clear out to earn some extra Christmas cash and felt wrong and weird letting them go! but the feeling after is better than anything :D
Running AND cleaning? Who are you?! :O
Well done lovely ;) xxx
Well done, Moo! :) that is awesome! :)

I agree :) It is time for us to say yesyesyes and not nonono!
Watched half of of the Katie Hopkins doc. I still dislike her massively - but it wasn't as bad as I thought. Now watching the 'off' part of it. She's still ridiculous and still says stupid and pointlessly spiteful things - but it...
Hahahaha at the picture - less washing ;)
Well done on your INCREDIBLE loss! You are an amazing lady and I'm SO glad you've found something that is working for you! :)
Sorry to hear you're not in a good place right now - hope you're feeling better very soon love! Huge hugs your way! I agree with the ladies above about cutting yourself some slack amd maybe working it into your weeklies - or just writing it off as a one off if not possible x
Hope so love :D Will keep my eye out for the DM outrage of your auction ;) ;) :P
Nope things get sorted out for you soon Mrs S and that it's something treatable - good luck! xx
M&S have released a new range of low cal meals - Burgers fish and chips and pulled pork all high protein low carb and UNDER 500 CALORIES Just how did M S create the easiest New Year diet ever | Daily Mail Online
That looks gorgeous! :) They'd released a whole new range - it sounds amazing! Burgers fish and chips and pulled pork all high protein low carb and UNDER 500 CALORIES Just how did M S create the easiest New Year diet ever | Daily Mail Online
Well done love :) x
I did too - from the end of 2003 to about 2007 after my dad passed away I barely left the house. Couldn't get to the papershop - 100mtrs away without gasping for air and in so much pain! It was a ridiculous way of dealing but it's so easily done!
Swimming is an AMAZING form of exercise for us :) It supports and cushions everything - and you can hide under the water too if you feel you need to ;) :D
Well done for going lovely :D Good luck! :)
Has anyone else watch Shut In's - Britains Fattest People tonight?
Definite proof if ever it was needed that you have to be a) Ready for your life to change and b) work on the brain/mental issues as well as the weight loss too!
Oh no, I'm definitely only 20 10 ;) (well - will be on the 1st. Not yet. Only 20-9 at the moment ;) :D)
Thank you lovelies :) It's all sorted and the appt is at half 2 tomorrow so hopefully it'll all go well.
Hope you're all doing well :) xxx
20-12, ladies ;)
Having said all that, I'm already a "proper" adult and have been since 18. Had to grow up pretty fast and now i'm practically the 'mum' of the house (even my own mother calls me mum!) and run everything, pay all the bills, sort our the paperwork etc. Right now I'm sorting out...
Really hope it won't be much longer for you lovely :( Maybe the cold isn't helping it? I have arthritis in my left knee and it's aching like mad in this weather.
Thank you loves :) Things are a bit calmer now, mum has her PIP assessment come Friday so hopefully there'll be some good news there (I'm fully expecting it to fail but don't they always....!!!)
I allegedly turn 30 in just over 3 weeks too. Or 20-10 as I may refer to it. this truly is our year...
Well done lovely :D It will be worth it all very soon! :) I promise. You can wave that in Doctor Bumfaces face too :D
I think one your resolutions needs to be standing in front of the mirror to try and get your brain to catch up ;) It's weird how far behind it is!
The dress looks amazing on you :) It really defines your shape :) I also looooooooooooooooved reading how you saw in this year - it sums you up like no other sentence could! :D Congrats on the HUGE loss, what a great way to see in the new year! :) x
