OK the snow is out and it doesn't feel like we are in Spring....but we are
So shake off the snow and get moving.
What do you challenge yourself to do this month.
 
My addition to March 2018 exercise challenge.
I'm going to try and achieve 1188 km.
I log all my rides on Friendfit.

The only exercise I log is my time on the exercise bike.
That's 27 out of 31 Days at an average of 44 km each exercise day.
I do two sessions a day most days @ 35 minutes, 92-100 rpm, 36-40 kph & 120-130 bpm.

Previous Months

2018) January 1109 km, February 1182 km
2017) December 1070 km, November 985.8 km, October 1090 km, September 970 km, August 494 km.

6,901 km covered from August 2017.
 
I'm going to join in but I want to try to do more strength training this month to balance out my cardio, so I need to have a little think about what my targets will be. Also the snow is unlikely to let me do much running or cycling this weekend at least as it's just not safe😕 It's just so annoying as I had a long run planned for Saturday which has had to be cancelled again.
Will be back soon once I've had a think.

We are still snowed in too. Each day we have got out for a very short walk, across the road and into the field to play in the snow. It has been too dangerous to walk on the road as even if you could stop slipping the chances are that any passing car could skid and hit you.
Will set my goals for March tomorrow.

It's snow bound where I live also but with the exercise bike not such an issue.
The goals are just a target as long your weight is showing a downward trend that's all that matters.

Right I'm going to break down my exercise this month. My targets are:

At least 6 strength training sessions which includes yoga, kettle bells, circuits etc.
Running - 20 miles
Walking - 20 miles
Cycling - 15 miles

I've not put them too high as I've already lost a weekend to snow and I also have some events coming up (mothers day, agility workshop etc) which will impact my ability to get out and about.

I will review later in the month and may increase my targets.

A 3km walk yesterday in the slush with a buggy and a dog and was wearing wellies
 
Hey folks, I am going to join this month....

I challenge myself to walk 100km over the month... I tend to do a 2.5km walk twice a day, usually on my morning and lunch breaks at work so I am aiming to do the bulk of my walks mon-fri.... we usually get out at the weekends for a walk too so can make it up there if I miss a walk during the week...

snow means I am only starting today but it is within reach...

A brisk 3km walk with the dog at 6kph. Short and quick as I've to jump into the shower now and go out.
