    Slimming world + 1/2 days a week calorie counting

    I also do SW, calorie counting and 5:2! I do the 5:2 because I work 2 nightshifts a week and it's just easier than trying to switch from days to nights and trying to plan meals around working and sleeping! Calorie counting just keeps me in check...I don't worry too much about going over on syns...

    I managed to lose 3lb so really chuffed! Since Friday, I've not done so well though...our schools finished for summer so now I'm in total holiday mode! We go away on Wednesday for 2 nights then away again on Saturday for a week. Once that's all done, I'll need to get back on it! How are you doing?

    I think you'll just need to have a guess at what weight you had! When I did this I searched 'pick n mix' on my fitness pal which says about 350 calories for 100 grams. Then I applied the 20 calories:1 syn rule. Its probably not accurate at all but it's a start!

    That's a good idea actually. I tend to do nothing in the evenings. Once the kids are in bed all I really want to do is watch TV! Some nights I've been batch cooking, which helps.

    I actually follow slimming world AND track my food and weight on my fitness pal! I find it easy to keep track of what I've eaten and can cap my daily intake - I know you're not supposed to count calories on SW but it helps me! And it's kind of just a guide anyway.
