    Why i am an idiot...

I can totally relate to that. I have always been big but in 2008 I decided to do something about it determined that at 17st I was NEVER going to be that big again. After spending the last 4 years messing about on SW, LT, Exante to name but a few I am now 3.5 stones heavier. If I had just picked...

I'm on TOTM (not the best time to start this diet in hindsight :o ) and yesterday evening I got home and KNEW I had to eat something. I had a very low carb meal of tinned salmon and broccoli and I REFUSE to feel guilty about it!! The reason is that in the past I would have thought "right...

Can I just ask if your post is right and he is having 3 shakes a day. As a man he should be having 4 a day. His body may well be in famine mode because he's not getting enough calories. My DBF is on TS and lost 10.5lbs last week.

    Other diet bars

Just as a warning I bought a couple of the BL breakfast fruit and nut bars yesterday. Thankfully I looked at the back as they actually have a far higher amount of carbs and sugar than the other bars, more than enough to kick me out of ketosis so they have been banished to the back of the cupboard :o

They have chocolate crisp and raspberry crisp. I haven't tried one yet but they look nice. I also picked up a couple of BL bars as they are on offer for £1.50 each and had one today. Black tea eww!

I'm with Divster. I have unsweetened soya milk and whilst it doesn't taste exactly like milk it's a very good alternative. There are also only 0.1g carbs and nil sugars per 100mls. I'm on day 3 and took a sneak peak this morning and have lost 6lbs so far so obviously not affecting losses :D

    SS and Skimmed Milk

I looked at the carbs in skimmed milk and I personally didn't want to risk it. I now use alpro unsweetened soya milk. It takes a little getting used to but only a little and it makes the diet totally bearable and it has virtually no carbs which could affect losses (0.1g per 100ml)
