Hi everyone I'm Hannah going to be giving sw my full and proper attention this coming year. I have plenty of motivation and lots of lovely places to go and 3 plane journeys!! I have all the books here I ordered online. I have a couple of questions if anyone can answer them. 1. If I join online sw can o attend meetings aswell included for the price. I won't be able to go every week but I would like to get weighed as much as possible when I can. I do not keep scales in the house after developing an eating disorder as a teenager. But I have 3 small children and I may not be able to always go. I remember before that if you don't go every week you get charged extra or something? And 2. I enjoy juicing veg with only a small amount of fruit I can see from my books that fruit puréed is syn however I can't really understand if puréed spinach and carrot (for example) is? Sorry for ramble love Hannah
Welcome Hannah:)

I have no idea if you can attend meetings if you are doing SW online but if you post in the general SW forum I am sure someone will know and I would like to know the answer to that myself.
I think all juicing is syned because it breaks down the food so that you will not get the full benefit of the feeling of fullness and so therefore would eat more of it juicing thus adding to extra calories...if I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me please.

Hannah you have plenty of motivation with all your holidays to look forward to and good luck on your weight loss journey.

if you need any help please ask in the Slimming World forum as our members are very good at helping out... here is the link below

Hi Everyone,

I lost 3 stone on Lipotrim years ago so I know it works and that I can do it. Found Minimins really helped me stay focused and motivated.

So here I am, back again to finish what I began.
83 pounds to lose.

2016 is the year and I look forward to sharing the transformation and offer any help, support and advice I can :)

Let’s do it!!

Yuna

Welcome back Yuna and it is lovely to see you again:)

I remember how well you did on Lipotrim.

Good luck with the Cambridge Weight Plan:D

Hi, anyone done Cambridge, just started sole source. I am 13 stones and hoping to go down to 11 stones. Any tips and encouragement from anyone?
Welcome toks:)

Make sure to take before photos and measurements as the weight comes off so fast on Cambridge and it is often something members regret not doing.

It takes the old head time to catch up with the weight loss but you can really see the difference in the photos.

Have plenty of water at hand and drink it slowly throughout the day and not all at once and try to keep yourself busy, the first few days are tough so hang in there.

Start a diary in the Cambridge forum as it will help to keep you focused and it will give others a place to pop in and say hello!

Back again with even more to lose this time.
I'm trying focus on the small picture at the moment as according to BMI (pinch of salt) I need to lose about 9st/10st, which is pretty scary.

Welcome back Sapphire Tiger:)

I know how you feel as I would like to lose about 8/9 stone and I find it a bit over whelming if I think about it so I break it down into manageable amounts and set myself mini goals.

You might like to check out the Wemitts forum for support on your journey and if you need any help please ask.

Good luck Sapphire Tiger and good luck:)

Hello everyone. I was a member here a couple of years ago but as I always do - fell off the wagon in spectacular fashion. I am now nearly 40 years old and nearly 20 stone so enough is enough. I'm going to die if i carry on like this. Not following a specific plan, just attempting to eat well. Look forward to catching up with you all

Hi, my name is Lucia. I have been a member for a few years now! I've given slimming world extra easy a good go last year and lost 2.5 stone but after a lovely summer holiday in august managed to put 1.5 stone back on over the remainder of the year!
BUT, i'm back on the band wagon and will stay there until the "dreaded" summer holiday AND hopefully this time beyond the holiday!!!
I did have a food diary last year but won't carry on with that for the time being but that might change once i'm further into my diet!
Here's to a VERY successful 2016 :winner:

Well done getting back on the wagon and for keeping a stone off. You did well before and I am sure you will again.

Hiya :)

Not to sure if this is the right thread. I'm a newbie *waves* both in the Exante Diet and forums.

Me and my best friend turned 40 this year and as we are both overweight, we decided that 2016 would be out year and we would be fab at 40 not fat. Since January I have lost 21 lbs but now nothing is shifting. My friend has been doing the Exante diet and has lost 3st so I thought, i want some of that! i have another 4 1/2 stone to lose to get to 10st 10lb (my target weight or me to be comfortable its a weight I can manage happily)

I started Exante Total Solution on Monday and so far so good (although i miss creamy coffee and diet coke!!) I'm doing it for 3 weeks to see how I get on. Although, I've seen from the posts on here that there have been some amazing weight losses on this diet so i cant wait to start seeing results.

Wish me luck :)
