    don't dab it too much, to be honest one of the best things you can use is actually a tampon. individually wrapped, they are sterile and absorbant. put it over or near the hole and bits down on it, or put it in your cheek. dont keep dabbing it, or the clot wont form and it'll keep bleeding.
