    Congrats on the 6lb loss! That is a great achievement. Its so disheartening when you work really hard and you don't see that reflected on the scales but each lb loss is 3500 calories you've burned off. So 2lb means you've rid yourself of 7000 calories and that is a massive effort!

    Shin splints are truly evil! I found that I still had pain at first but I started only doing a little bit each time and that seemed to help, also I found the cold makes the pain much worse so I'm only running on the treadmill at the gym for now in the warmth! Hope that might help x
