If it works for you, it's the right thing to do. It's probably much healthier to average things out than be a slave to a very rigid number of calories each day. That's ok for a few days or weeks, or even months for the disciplined...but losing weight long-term and being happy and healthy in...

We all have to take the first step, which is by far the hardest. You've shown you're strong by taking that step. From there on in, we just have to keep making changes abit at a time. Before you know it, they add together into weightloss and feeling more confident. It must be hard with kids in...

I know what you mean. I would be exactly the same. Boots are offering alternatives, and think someone on minimins mentioned a 'natural' tablet that fat sticks to. You could consider alli. I know it's hard to get too. I could not get any in busy chemists, but got some in a local rural...

    Cant get xenical

Most of the fake xen was in the USA. If you use xen regularly there is a good chance you would spot it. If you open a tablet, the fake is often just powder instead of the granules in real xen. The name often isn't written on the tablet, and the leaflet in the box is missing or full of typos...

    Vitamins and Minerals

Poppy's right, I was told to take the vitamins at night 'cos they are 'fat soluable' which I think means that some of the vitamins need fat to be properly absorbed by your body. If you take them during the day, they may be absorbed by fat, which is blocked by the xen, so you don't get much good...

The only reasonably consistent stuff I've seen is on pharmacy news type sites. A couple say there was an issue with 'good manufacturing practice or processes' or something at the plant that makes some of the ingredients for xen, as well as tamiflu and other meds. There are supposedly shortages...

Taking this instead of the full strength prescription only

Hi Marie, I think the 'rules' are a little less strict on alli that xen, but the stickies are a good guide. I hope you don't get sick this time. Given that you lost so much in the past without the xen, I'm sure you can have every success this time. Come over and join us on the xen forum x

I'd want to know how your getting on post xen, as we will all be post xen at some stage. Stopping it is part of the journey we're all on. Newbies like me have loads to learn from you too. And failing that, if they don't start getting some xen made soon, we'll all be without xen for abit...

    Upped my calories

How are you finding eating more? I don't know how you guys manage with the hunger pangs. It's great that you all have willpower! I have always had mfp set for 1lb a week, so I'm never particularly hungry. I admire that you guys can set more difficult targets. I think you needing to eat more...

I felt bad buying up alli, especially as loads of xen people will be doing that and leaving the alli ones with no supply, but I needed to know I had enough to get to the end of the shortage. I paid instead of getting it on a script, and will use it up before I would get my xen script. I felt...

I'll let you know what I find Lisa. If I find more I'll let you know and could post some if you're stuck. I needed the peace of mind too. I run out of xen in a couple of weeks. I have enough Alli to get me beyond the end of April, and feel relieved. I found some alli on a well-known website...

Well, today a couple of chemists told me it would be the end of april before producton was due to restart. After hearing this, I went all over the place looking for alli instead. Eventually I got one box in one independent chemist and 3 boxes in another. That was all I could find. I had to...
