Morning Petal! So much to take in and digest at the moment for you. I really feel for you and you have no idea how exhausted you are but I can assure you it will hit you. You are running on adrenalin at the moment and that in itself is tough. I was like you so can understand what and why you...

BMI, bone size etc confusion :(

Hello! I started dieting when I visited my GP and was told to lose weight asap! I am also 5'2" and at that time weighed 12stone 4lbs. I am now 9stone 7lbs and she is happy with that weight even though it is at the top end of acceptable bmi. I have an average frame. I could lose at least...

Morning Honey! Still going well then obviously! It is so true that the longer you are on a plan then the more normal and part of the daily routine it becomes. I also find that my stomach has shrunk and I can no longer eat the amounts that I used to. Carry on-you are doing so well.x

Statistics - What size are you at what weight?

Just been and doubled checked! I am 31" at my narrowest part! Perhaps being small and short-waisted has something to do with it or alternatively I am a freak of nature!!x
  15. S

Statistics - What size are you at what weight?

Absolutely agree with the sizing issue Shirleen. That is why I can't get excited wearing a size 10 as I know it is in reality probably more like a large 12 and for my height and weight currently of 9 stone 7 I still look overweight. Still, better than I was!x
  16. S

Statistics - What size are you at what weight?

How true Shirleen-how many of us are there that continue to wear the wrong size clothes? I was told that fitted clothes actually make you look slimmer and have found as I have lost weight that this is true and now wear things that actually fit and don't just drown me! I wear size 10 but still...

You both make a lot of sense to me! I agree with all you say but find that I feel silly complaining to tall people that I want to lose weight but wear a size 10. It sounds as if I am fishing for compliments which I'm not!x
  19. S

Statistics - What size are you at what weight?

Even at a size 8 I won't look slim! Ridiculous, but maybe the sizes have altered? I'm like you Littlemissthin 17.
  20. S

Congratulations! Nothing beats the feeling of seeing those losses on the scales. If you can lose the weight successfully without having dieted before then you will have cracked it once and for all and not have all the issues lots of the rest of us here have. The last two posts made so much sense to me and were interesting reading. However, once goal is reached it is so hard to maintain the dedication and realise that...

Well done on the loss. The good thing about being in Turkey is that you have a vast range of medications that you can buy without a prescription and the pharmacists give lots of advice. I did notice the last time I went that prices are quite high though. Good luck with the extra exercise I'm...
