Well, I'm back on track - one bar thing and a shake so far with a 'yummy' soup to come shortly. But I am ravenous :-) I'm going to weigh in tomorrow. Don't want to cos it'll depress me but I know I don't weigh when I'm putting on weight as it's a very effective form of denial for me. My...

    Day one of?

Was so knackered last night that I was in bed by 9pm, absolutely unheard of for me. Wasn't hungry at all either so ate a bar instead of soup which means I've got to have two soups today :-( And, bums, have just been invited out top supper tomorrow. Can't say no as they are extremely good...

Total Solution diary of a serial dieter: dieting for the last time :)

Hope you're having a better day today. I felt so exhausted yesterday that I was in bed by 9pm, totally unheard of for me. Feeling a bit flat today too and putting off eating my lunch as it doesn't appeal at all. I'm hoping we have bad days followed by lots of good ones!

I know exactly what you mean. I have a real fear of losing it to only put it back on again as I've done that once before. I'm hoping that staying on here might give me the encouragement I need. It's such a long way away for me, I really shouldn't be worried just yet!

    Day one of?

A strange thing happened to me this morning. I was putting biscuits out for a group I was running and had no urge to eat one! Has to be said I probably would now, but it was a very unusual experience for me. Have taken to having my bar for breakfast and shake for lunch as I'm usually in a...

    My new life begins!

Cockles hey. I haven't had one for years. We had cockle sheds near where I lived. I agree the chocolate one is yucky. I've tried it hot, with and without coffee and cold and still can't stomach it. Had a vanilla one for lunch with plenty of ice and it tasted a bit like melted ice-cream :-)...

You are so good - I drink loads of tea and coffee still, I tell myself it is part of my water intake ;) I know I should be stronger but if I gave up all my vices in one go I'd go under!

It's so nice this group. I admit things to you lot that I wouldn't say to my lovely thin friends - they'd be terribly shocked :-)

Anyone with about a stone 1/2 to lose?

I wish! I suppose the only plus side to being so fat is that I'll lose it more quickly :-)

    Gaga's Bulging Epic Battle......

Managed 6pm in my first week which I am chugged with. It'll be nice when my clothes feel a little looser - at the moment it just shows on the scales :-) I'm finding this forum so helpful, it doesn't feel like I'm doing it all by myself, which I find so hard. How nice to have so much support!

    Chocoholics

I have a friend who keeps a mars bar in the fridge and cuts off a small slice to have with a cup of tea each afternoon. I just don't get it. I can easily manage whole giant bars of choc in one sitting. It's the one thing that sends me spiralling out of control.

You are good. I think my weakness is going to be eating out. I can sort of control it at home but I'm very weakwilled when I'm somewhere else and make up all sorts of reasons why I should eat, to be polite, to treat myself etc. KFC might finish me off and I don't even like it that much!

Weigh in day and 6lb down :-) I'm feeling very proud of myself. The nice thing is that takes me to 16st so just one more lb and it'll say 15 something which is a lovely feeling. Day one of?

What a kind and encouraging lot you all are. Just had the most disgusting one,for me anyway, the tomato soup. Added twenty tons of black pepper and made it a bit runnier which helped. Avoided the yummy fish pie I made for everyone else so a 100'/, day :-)
