3 weeks in but reeeeeally struggling tonight...

Oooooh Atkins bars now that could be an idea to have some in the freezer in case of emergencies. To be honest I'm having the occasional soya latte so I don't think I'm permanently in ketosis anyway, but I assume the Atkins bars keep you in ketosis do they? I don't know anything about Atkins...

3 weeks in but reeeeeally struggling tonight...

Brilliant, well done you as well! Ahem I would also have taken the sweets out of the bin in a moment of craving madness (how embarrassing that I just admitted that). I do feel reeeeally super pleased with myself today for not eating them and am on track and fine this morning.... evenings are my...

3 weeks in but reeeeeally struggling tonight...

Thanks for your reply...mmm bacon!! I tipped the sweets in the bin then covered them with washing up liquid! May sound barmy but I just can't be trusted with sweeties around and they're no good for the kids either to be fair (trying to make myself feel better for committing the sin of chucking...

Do you even stay in ketosis with the meals?

Hi all, I've come over from CD, purely because I wanted more choice. I've just tried the bolognese meal on a bed of white and green veg and I can't believe how tasty it was!! I am truly shocked! The big question is - will I stay in ketosis? I'm a bit unsure as it did taste like bits of...

UT it's not "just a half pound" it's half a pound off in the right direction and well done to you for shifting it! Haven't you seen that great hunk of fatty stuff the SW counsellors take to the meetings?! I think it is 1 or 2 lbs of fat so half a pound is very significant believe me! What is...

    Too Fruity?

Nope I don't think it's too much - I would say I eat a similar amount most days, although I personally tend to stick at 1 banana a day (for no particular reason!) but most days I will eat 2 apples, 2 satsumas, 1/2 punnet of strawberries, 1/4 melon or pineapple.. oh the list is endless but yes I...

Why can u stick to this and not a normal healthy diet?

Yep, agree with SteveM, it must be ketosis, I personally never ever get hungry.. ALSO that there are no choices to make. I used to always make mine hot (choc, choc mint and cappu) but for the first time I am having them cold and they taste sooooo much nicer! I have tried some of the fruity flavours and they are actually really nice I am quite suprised, wish I had tried them sooner  Do you have yours...

Mmmm I LOVE the CD veg flavouring too, it is a bit of a luxury to be able to have even more "food" haha!

    Think of a flavour...any flavour....

Judy I'm pretty sure you can have that Marigold Bouillon as a drink on CD, it's kind of like a weak veg soup, delicious! It certainly doesn't take me out of ketosis but perhaps a CDC can confirm for Judy?

    Query..

I completely agree with you about being and remaining in control and eating healthily. I have been so utterly out of control for the last 9 months or so, I have binged so badly that I have put on 4 stone in only 9 months :( something had to be done. But sole source was not right for me because...

    Query..

Thanks for your reply.. yeh I guess you are right. My thoughts are that for me not to have binged for a week (I am a binge eater) and to have eaten properly, in control and healthily, I guess I just feel happy about what I have eaten regardless. I really can't allow myself to feel guilty...

Out for a curry on 790?

Hellooo Bagpusss (awwww love him!!) I believe I'm right in saying this, but hopefully someone more knowledgable will come along soon lol!! I think a chicken tikka (which doesn't come in a sauce) would be fine.. you normally get a small salad with it too so that could be your meal? Perhaps...

    must.. not.. weigh.. myself !!!!!

I'm coming to the end of week one on 790 and DESPERATE to know if I have lost any weight. I have been having 2-3 packs plus a small meal in the early evening, most of the foods have been on the "allowed" list but some are very healthy but not strictly on the list (eg peppers, strawberries...

    Query..

.. I am doing the 790 plan, it is nearly the end of week 1 and I feel great and am in ketosis. My query is.. I am having the occasional bite of apple, couple of strawberries, raw carrot, raw peppers.. nothing really "bad" but not strictly allowed on the 790 plan. Is that because they may...

Is there a list of foods "allowed" on the 790 plan?

Thank you! I haven't got the book yet, my CDC is bringing it round tomorrow evening.
  248. S

Is there a list of foods "allowed" on the 790 plan?

Just as the title says lol!! I would love a list of foods allowed on the 790 plan, which I appreciate are all low-carb foods (I think?). Is there such a list?? Thanks! x
